"Isn't it pretty mama?" Giselle rejoiced, showing her mom the city of lights as she reversed the camera on FaceTime. You could hear all of Mama Alessia's "oohs and ah's," and it was quite funny how fascinated she was with NYC.I watched Giselle's eyes gleam and her mouth drop as she focused on certain things that attracted her eye. Giselle had been in New York City before, I know, but every time she came... everything felt so new to her all over again.
"Does that McDonald's over there have two stories?!" Mama Alessia shouted through the phone.
Giselle laughed like a little innocent girl, nodding as if her mom could see her. "Yes mama!" She smiled.
"Wow, that joint right there is crazy!" She commented. "I'm gone take you one day baby." Izan commented in the background.
"You need to take me now, so I can see my baby girl again!"
Giselle couldn't do anything, but laugh at her parents.
"Okay baby, you've been on FaceTime with us for like 30 minutes now. Enjoy your time with Princeton and y'all have fun! I'll talk to you tomorrow."
Giselle nodded. "I know you've never seen New York before mama, so I just wanted to show you. I love you so much and I'll talk to you soon. I love you too dad, if you're still there." She giggled.
"We love you more baby!" The FaceTime call ended.
Giselle stuffed her phone into her Chanel purse and wrapped her scarf tighter around her neck.
"It's getting chilly now, right?" I commented, noticing as she shivered here and there.
She smiled and nodded. "Hell yeah, but a hoe never gets cold."
I stale faced her, shaking my head. "If you say that one more time. Lmao, I swear I'm gone pimp slap yo ass since you wanna keep claiming you a hoe."
She laughed hysterically, pushing me to the point where I nearly tripped over the curb.
"Where we going next?" I asked, seeing that we were approaching Forever21.
