Letters To The World--AS ABOVE SO BELOW

Information: To Speak or To Shut

Does your brain have some teasers to share to the world? Does your brain contain some things that are sensible enough to be heard by different people? Does your brain have those pieces of knowledge needed by people to successfully be productive and be creative in their everyday lives? Does your brain have the updated newsletter of a certain time to feed the minds of innocent citizens of your country?

If your answer to the stated questions is a "Yes.", then your brain has these so-called "information" that are awaited to be spread or to be kept from the world, coming from different sources in our daily living on earth. Even if as a human being, you are granted the right to have the "freedom of speech", there is always an exception to the rule. Therefore, there are some informatins that are meant to be shared, be discovered and later be popularized to the public while there are some information that are meant to be kept, be hidden and never be disclosed to the public.

There are some generalizations known by each one of us that are either trending, historical or helpful which are worth known by the public as we share our thoughts on the information we had gathered. Spreading such good information can help the receivers learn new things as they communicate with you. As they learn these information, they can apply it in their everyday living. These information will then be betwoed upon different people from generation to generation. They need information from us because it can contribute to their new discoveries in life. It helps them be aware of such phenomena happening on earth at the current time. Lastly, it helps them to innovate new knowledge as they create progress in making use of gathered information to contribute to the world. Exemplfying this to our situation, as we collect useful information from the external factors such as media, internet, news and other people, that are legitimately proven, we will be convinced to convey the message to the other people as what we had seen and heard from our sources for their own benefit. Incidentally, if my parents had known a news from the media which had been proven, they share it to me, thus making me aware and wary of my surroundings to avoid such casualty. Another incident I can enumerate is the presence of textbooks in the school containing different facts about certain subjects, such as sciences, business, or any other academic related content, wherein as the authors of the books, you had believed that you are giving away the right information to the students for them to learn, which are all generalized facts about the world, having no illegality and negativity foreseen in such sources.

There are some information that can not be spread, but instead should be hidden in treasure chests or vaults that are unopenable to the public's eyes and ears. If these informations are out in the open, then there will be consequences for the persons and objects involved, bringing more chaos to our world. These information are considered too important or too valuable to be shared, which are rather called "confidential data" or "secrets". One reason why it is harmful to ruin the secrecy of such phenomena is that it can ruin someone's image, reputation that will end up robbing someone of his or her dignity. Another reason is that, if the secret is known, the harmer might find ways to fully take advantage of the victim, thus harming his or her safety. It can damage relationships, which starts in the form of rumors, bashes and other false accusations from the accurate information then being spread to bring harm to another party. This is the reason why secrets should be opened up to the person whom we fully trust, to the person who we are certain that will keep our own sensitive information intact and to never spread it to the public to be used against you. Based on my experience, it is very hurtful for me to recently find out from other people that the person whom I trusted the most had became one of my haters as he spread such preposterous information about me, which contained my secrets and the other accusations, which are converted secrets, to harm my reputation so that the people who adore him will hate me. There was also one girl who did the same awful deed to me, therefore leaving me alone and never befriending me because of such. I once loved them, which made me disclose and open up myself for them to stay and trust me in the same level I did, but it happened otherwise, making my life miserable and painful to bear.

Therefore, as we know, information is usually traveling around the world through communication, either in a slow or fast rate. As humans knowing what are true or not, even if there is a saying that says "The truth sets you free.", we should know how to use our critical thinking in filtering which information should be spread out to the public or not. In the reality, there are always opposites, so if there is an action that you had performed, there are always such given consequences, either positive or negative. We just have to weigh out which effect should we consider in every situation we will be opening our mouths, so that we will not be harming the receivers of our words because words are powerful in their own way. It is up to you to decide which information you want to give versus what you want to hide inside a box forever. What matters is that, you have to be aware of such phenomena happening in the reality in knowing every information, especially by the public, because everything may become an issue, whehter factual or confidential. It is up to us people how to handle those data we gathered from those sources in our daily living for the betterment of our society.

My bestfriend had these drills in her exams of making essays everyday as a review for an exam. I decided to give this a try in my own way, since we need to complete 250 words and more within one hour about a certain topic. Here is the finished product of the 1-hour, containing 1007 words...enjoy guys~~
