"FUCK!" Louis, Liam and Pony all leave the house so quickly.
"That's it? He's fucking dead?" Soda says, crying. Shit when boys cry, it's the end of me. I can't help but cry myself. Amanda and Perrie hold each other I'm the corner. Harry starts crying and shit. It kills me seeing him so hurt. He closes the door to his room. We hear a few smashes and bangs. He's gonna break the house. Maybe I should calm him down? All the guys left. Did they go to the hospital?
"Should I help him?" I look at Amanda, who's mascara is smudging. She sniffs in response.
I open Harry's door slowly. He's on the ground. I notice the window is smashed and a few lamps too.
"Harry," I sit on the floor next to him. His arms cover his head. His arms suddenly wrap around my body tightly. I can feel him sob into my shoulder.
"I'm sorry," I rub his back. "I'm here." My lips connect with his cheek.
"I need to get to the hospital," he stands up, while holding my hand.
"I'll take you," I hold his face. Our foreheads touch and I can feel his breath on my face. Our lips connect lightly. I'm hoping this will calm him down.
"Okay," he sniffs.
Once we get to the hospital, we all rush into the building. The doctors said they waited for us. The guys wouldn't let them put Johnny in the morgue until Harry sees him. Harry walks into the hospital room slowly Infront of me.
"Oh god," he stares at the body. This... I can't stand watching. Nope. Not a dead person. Perrie and Amanda stand outside and I join them. To be honest... this is the first death in my life since my father.
Harry's POV
Knowing the person I pledged to protect is gone, is the worst kind of feeling I've ever had. The thought is pounding against my chest and head. I can't seem to imagine how Ponyboy feels. They've been best friends since they were little. I feel like I scared Cherry just a little bit, I'm hoping she understands what this might feel like.
"How did this happen? I thought you guys said that he would recover," Sodapop wipes his face as he asks the surgeon.
"We did think he would have full recovery but he had a few blood clots that we were unaware of. Stuff like that can happen and we wouldn't know," he explains. Bullshit. Some nurse must have given him the wrong medication. They're scared we'll sue them.
"Are you sure?" I cross my arms as I look at the doctor.
"Of course," he looks at me strangely.
After ten minutes of silence, the doctors take Johnny Cake. I can't fucking believe he's gone.
He never fought with anyone.
Never yelled at anyone.
Most importantly, he never judged anyone. No matter what.
And now, he's gone. The door flies open and in runs Dally.
"Fuck!" He kicks the wall. Thankfully not leaving a mark. Dally loved Johnny. He always has.
I've never seen Zayn Malik cry. But I guess today is the lucky day.
"Blood clot, huh?" Dally wipes his eyes. "Those hot shot doctors think they're wise guys."
"No kiddin'," Pony almost squeaks. Everyone's voice seems to be shakier than ever.
"Those fucking socs," Sodapop covers his eyes.
"It was the rumble. Not the socs. We shouldn't have let Johnny Cake fight," Louis says.
"It's over now. So let's not argue on who's fault this is," I tell them. Everyone just keeps quite and we walk out of the hospital room with out another word. My hands slip into my pockets and I head for the front door.
