"Zayn, get in," I whisper as the guys settle into the car. Niall's been tracking down Cherry's phone for about an hour and we finally got it. She's on the other side of Oklahoma and we have to find her before it's too late. I just hope Niall's time that's been spent with a bunch of hackers pay off.
"You sure this is gonna go right? Maybe we should just call the cops, man," Liam worries from behind. Fucking hell, he's always worrying.
"Calm down, Liam. We're going to find her ourselves," I make my turn into the highway.
"No back up?" Soda asks from the way back of the car.
"I already called Jesse, Dall and Nash. They're right behind us," Louis explains and I nod. Even though I hate Jesse's guts, I have no other choice.
"Ponyboy, hand me the smokes," I ask him. I can't even handle the amount of stress I am in. What if she's gone by now? How will I ever be able to forgive myself? I light up one smoke, and I feel my tensed muscles relax.
"Fuck guys, what if something happened to her?" Niall covers his eyes with his hands. This must be just as hard on Niall than it is on me.
"Nothing happened to her," Zayn says and I sigh, trying to ignore the horrific thoughts swirling through my mind.
After what it seems to be an hour or so, I end up pulling into an empty lot with a small shack in the corner.
"Niall, you sure this is the place? It's empty man," Liam looks at Niall and he shrugs.
"This tracker on your phone, harry, says that your last call came from this exact location," Niall opens the car door, with his gun in his hands. I've had these guns forever though never put them to use. Maybe once but nothing happened. My dad left them for me, no idea why.
"Let's go," Zayn follows Niall out.
"Everyone, stay absolutely silent," I whisper as we head towards the small red shack. The parking lot is infected with silence. No one even dares breathe the wrong way, we might be heard. I can see Nash's car pulled up on the side of the road. He nods and gestures for us to continue.
I scan my eyes on the shack but it doesn't seem like it could be used by anyone. It's falling apart, it's not too big and it smells like an old person. I look at the guys and they look at me. "1, 2," I whisper.
"3." I kick the door open with my foot as I point my gun around the room. I scan every inch of the place, nothing. Only a small stool in the corner.
"Anyone see anything?" Soda whispers and we all shake our heads.
"Fuck it, Niall. We've found the wrong place," Zayn rolls his eyes and my eye catches something familiar shining at the sight of my phones flashlight.
"That's Cherry's charm bracelet," I pick up the silver chain with a bunch of little charms on it. I know it's hers. I saw it on her the last time we talked.
"So if that's hers, then where the fuck could she be?" Louis looks around. I shrug, sighing.
As I step closer to the small window, I hear a loud creek. My eyes travel down to where my feet are and we reveal a trapped door.
"Make a noise and I'll kill you," I look up at the guys after I kneel down to pick up the almost invisible handle. I pull the door all the way back and I look down.
There's light and a ladder. We all slowly climb down the rusty ladder and we hit the bottom.
"You guys in?" Niall's phone makes a sound.
"Is that a walkie talkie?" I look over at Niall and he shrugs.
"It was a free app," he says then presses a button on the screen. "We're in. Cover us."
