Cherry's POV

Awkwardest thing ever. I'm serious, never do that.

But I had to. Because I DO love him.

I just over think things way too much. I need to get my mind off of things. So it's been a week of college, and it's pretty good so far. Classes and teachers are very much liked and it's not too hard.

I figured I'd visit my mom at home since she has not stopped calling me and because I want to apologize. I came to TU with a frown because of my mom but I feel bad. I just CAN NOT stay mad at people for a long time. It's just really never been my personality. Never has been.

"So this Niall guy... he's your good friend?" my mom takes a sip of her coffee.

"Yeah. One of my best," I nod. She seems to be more excepting now. Wondering why, I decide to ask her.

"So why aren't you so mad anymore?" I ask.

"Well, I thought about what you said," my mother admits.

"Oh. So you're letting me be friends with them?" I ask, jumping with joy on the inside.

"I suppose It's fine," she nods, taking one more sip of her coffee. "And Harry," she looks up at me. "He's not much different than I see him out to be?"

"He's exactly the way you would have seen him as a Soc," I lie.

"Actually, he's more of a violent, dark, cold kinda guy," my subconscious tells me.

"And you...fancy him?" she asks.

"I- um. Yeah, I do," I say, not wanting to tell her that i've confessed my love for him.

"Well, if he's the same boy I met a couple weeks back, then I wish you luck," she smiles warmly while holding my hand.

"Thanks," I smile.

After all my classes, I realize that I have so much homework to do. There actually is a library here that I could do my work in but I have no idea where it is. I walk around almost the whole campus, trying to find the library. As I look around, I feel someone hug me from behind.

"Cherry Glass, have you been avoiding me?" I hear Harry's raspy voice in my ear.

"No," I laugh. "I just have work to do. I don't have time to play your games."

He releases me from his hold then steps in front of me.

"Come on, Cher. I never see you," he wipes a piece of my hair out of my face.

"I'm sorry," I feel horrible. To be honest, I was kinda avoiding him. But I don't know why.

"Where you headed?" He asks.

"Library. You know where it is?" I ask him and he nods.

"Yeah, come along," he says, leading me the opposite direction I came in.

"Okay, British boy," I smirk and he rolls his eyes playfully.

"I am American," he laughs.

"Your accent isn't," I say.

"Cher," he looks at me.

"Yeah?"

"You need to put more clothes on," he laughs.

"Wha- I'm fine." I look down at my crop top and leggings.

"Leggings are too shaped around your legs, love."He says and I shake my head.
