*Kayla*
"Kayla! Kyle's here!" My mom yelled.
"I'm coming!" I yelled from my room.
Today is the day Kyle and I are flying out to New York to be with Alexis this weekend.
I stayed up packing till 2am, and then I had to get up at 9am, so I could get ready. Our flight leaves at 11:00 o'clock.
Thank you Alexis, for not booking an early flight! You know me too well.
Grabbing my big suitcase and carry-on bag, I made my way downstairs to the living room.
"Goodbye sweetie. Have fun, stay safe, and tell Alexis we miss her." She smiled, hugging me.
"Goodbye mom. I love you!" I said walking out the door.
"I love you too sweetie!" She called back.
Kyle grabbed my suitcase and bag in the back, and got in.
"Are you ready?" He said, looking straight ahead.
"As ready as I'll ever be." I huffed.
I'm really excited to see her again, but also really nervous.. What if she's changed? Like what I see on tv? Maybe that's just the way she has to act. I hope she didn't forget our special handshake that we've been doing, since we made it up when we were 8.
Or maybe she's changed for the better? Like not the bitchy type, but the sweet type.
Once that was on my mind, I couldn't think of anything else. I did occasionally think, 'holly cow, I'm going to meet star actor, brandon miller, and he's dating my bestfriend.. I should be fan girling right now, because I used to love everything he starred in. But I have a feeling he might not be who everyone thinks he is.. Especially Alexis.
"Kayla?" Kyle's soft sweet voice spoke up.
I looked up and saw that we were parked at the airport.
I took a gulp,"I'm ready."
We got out of the car and grabbed our luggage, locking the car. I never really looked around an airport, but there's a lot of things in here!
I searched out a Starbucks and I begged Kyle. It was twenty minutes before our flight and I was really tired and coffee helps me stay awake. Especially Starbucks.
So, we got our coffee and then we were called to board.
"I'm sorry ma'am, no outside drinks on the plane please." The girl said sweetly.
I gulped down as much as I could, and through it in the trash can next to her.
"Thank you." She smiled, "Enjoy your flight!" She said, checking our tickets and IDs.
We put our stuff above us and sat in our seats.
"Man, she was too bubbly for that job. I'd hate to work at an airport." I mumbled.
"Oh stop. Please don't be grumpy." He pouted.
"I'm only grumpy because I had barely any sleep, and that chick made me throw away my Starbucks. That didn't make me any happier." I growled.
"Hey. Listen. We're going to have fun in New York, and you're going to hangout with your bestfriend/ my sister. I'm going to talk with this Brandon dude. But the point is tha-" He was cut off by a blonde bimbo flight attendant.
"You're... Kyle Hayward!" She said, her eyes glimmering.
"Uh, yeah. That's me." He gave her a small annoyed smiled.
