*Fletcher*
My mood brightened when the reporter on the tv said that Alexis and Brandon broke it off.
Finally!
I reach for my phone and dial her number, thinking if she's going to come back now.
"Hello?" She sighed.
"Hey it's fletcher?" I chirped.
"Oh.. Hey fletch." She said.
"You aren't as happy as you usually are when you talk to me.. Something isn't right." I said,
"Well yeah. Brandon and I are off for now, and I really regret doing that.. I guess I love him." She said sadly.
"You're still coming home now, right?" I asked, trying to cheer her up.
"I'm not coming home till senior year fletcher. Seven months left." She said. "I may not even come home then."
"But you have to!" I started to get angry.
"I can't be home right now, fletch. Please understand. I haven't been out of bed in four days.. How do you expect me to get on a plane and fly home? I wasn't even going to roll over and answer my phone, but I'd feel bad or regret it if it was Brandon who tried calling.." She croaked.
"So the reason why you aren't going to come home, is this Brandon guy?" I said angrily.
"Stop it." She said bluntly.
"Stop what?" I asked.
"I won't always love only you. I love Brandon, and why can't you see that I'm having the best time of my life here in New York? Well, besides me and him taking a break. I can't just leave."
"Well right now you aren't having the time of your life. Because you haven't gotten out of bed in days. Maybe coming back home will clear your head. You could always be what you are there, here in California. So, will you give it a try?" I asked her, worried she'd blow me off.
"I think you're right fletch. And then maybe I could move on.. I'll finish my junior year, and then I won't have to fly back and forth. I'll just move back home.. Will you pick me up from the airport? I can just have them Deliver my things from my apartment." She said, sounding a little bit happier.
"Yes, I'd love to pick you up from the airport." I smiled.
"I'll book my flight today and I'll call you when I'm boarding. Sound good?" She asked.
"Yes!" I said, shouting for joy.
"Fletch.." She whispered.
I heard Things in the background falling to the floor.
"Alex?! What's going on?" I asked.
"I'm trying to make my way to the bathroom.. I don't feel so good.. I'll have to call you back." She said quickly, and then she hung up, leaving me on the dial.
I turned my phone off, wondering if she was lying to me.

*Alexis*
I gripped the side of the toilet, and the remains from the last four days were suddenly in the toilet bowl.
This Is how I've been living for the past four, five days. Barely eating, staying in bed, and throwing up everything. I haven't been to work, I haven't even been shopping! I'm just a mess right now. I can't go home like this.
I lifted my head from the toilet, and flushed everything, grabbing a cold rag I had on the counter and wiped my face with it. Alongside was a cup of water, with my toothbrush and a tube of toothpaste. Beginning to brush my teeth, I look up at myself in the mirror.
