*Alexis*
I grabbed my keys and headed out the door.
For some odd reason, I'm really worried about her. I mean, I feel like she's a part of me. Even though I just met the kid hours ago, she seemed similar to me.
I drove past oregon and mount, until I reached Jefferson. I turned into the street, and waited. I didn't really know if she meant this end, or the other end, so maybe I should go check.
So, I crept down the street, looking out both windows to see if she's still walking to the end.
Halfway through, on the left side of the street, was this big house that had all the lights on. I stopped in front of it, to see if that's where she would come from.
Low and behold, she comes out, rushing down the steps, with a bag around her shoulder and her phone in her other hand.
I rolled down my window, letting cold air in.
"Brie?" I said it loud enough for her to hear me.
"Oh! Thank god, A.J.! You actually came.. Thank you.. So much." She whispered, getting around to the other side of my car.
More crashing sounds came from inside the house, and then the front door opened.
"Brieanne, where the hell do you think you're going?!". A middle aged man came yelling out.
"Anywhere but here." She said softly.
She quickly got in, and thank god I rolled my windows up and they're tinted. So that that man wouldn't know who I was.
We got back on the main road, and I wanted to know some things first.
"Are you hungry?" I asked her.
"Not right now.. I can't eat right now." She said in a low voice.
"Okay, well when we get to my house, you can ask for Dan. He's our head chef." I said.
"Thank you. For picking me up." She said, looking at me.
"You're welcome." I sighed. "Actually, there's something weird here, and I want to know what it is."
"What do you mean?" She asked.
When we reached a red light, I grabbed a picture of myself and fletcher from my glovebox.
"This was taken three or four years ago.. When I was your age. You look exactly like me."
She grabbed the pictures out of my hand, and stared at it.
Suddenly, her eyes grew wider and a little lighter.. Like they were filling up with happiness.
"I do look exactly like you.." She said, giving a weak, small smile.
"Yeah.." I said, smiling back at her.
As we drove in town, I stopped to get gas.
"A.J?" Brie called me, getting out of the car.
"Yeah?" I turned around, still pumping gas into my car.
"Can I go in and get something to eat?"
I nodded, grabbing a twenty out of my wallet, and handing it to her.
"Get me something while you're in there." I said, watching her wall into the store.
"Okay!" She called behind her.

Once I was done pumping my gas, I paid with my card, and sat in my car, waiting till Brie comes back out.
