*Alexis*
I don't even want to talk about how my day at school went. I should've just waited and went famous after high school, but nope! Time hits me where it has to.
So, I'm done with my last class today, and there has been so many things that I didn't see coming. Like people asking for my autograph, wanting me to actually talk to them, wanting to carrying my stuff to class, wanting to know about me. I almost slapped a girl, but I didn't, I had to keep my anger down and put on a smile like I was interested in what she was talking about.
As I reach in my locker, putting my books away, I see fletcher heading down the hallway, but he was with his friends. So I slowly focus back on putting stuff in my locker and grabbing my backpack so I can walk home. I was barely out the doors when he grabbed my hand.
"Hey! Where are you going?" He asked, leaning against me.
"Walking home. Why?" I asked.
"Can you stay and watch me practice?" He pleaded with those beautiful eyes of his.
"But I-" He stopped me, knowing what I was going to say.
"I'll drive you home. And then we can just hangout at your house." He smiles.
"Okay." I smiled, looking into his eyes.
He leaned in and gave me a deep kiss, before grabbing my hand and walking me down the hallway and to the fields. I took my seat in the many rows of seats around the stadium. Our stadium wasn't huge, but it wasn't small. Soon, they all started coming through the tunnel from the locker rooms, and onto the field. Then my phone started to ring.
Taking it out of my back pocket, I see who the caller ID is.
Brandon?..
I nervously slide the answer button.
"Hi."
"Alexis?" His deep voice soothed through the phone.
"Yeah, it's me. What's up?" I tried to sound happy.
"I'm in town, and I made a promise that I'd visit you when I was here. Are you doing anything?" He asked.
"Well, I'm at the football stadium right now. My school's. If you want to come by and hangout with me while fletcher practices, that's alright." I said.
"Okay, that's good. I'll be there soon." I could feel him smiling at the other end of the phone.
"Okay, bye B." I said quietly.
"Bye Alex." He said, hanging up.
I put my phone in my back pocket and sat back down. All the football players gathered in a warm up circle drill, and started doing jumping jacks, and the line running thing. Once they were done, they started scrimmaging against each other, and Fletcher started kick off. I saw him look in the stands until his eyes landed on me. He gave me a wave and then got into stance. Running towards the football, he kicked it all the way to the other end of the field. How can they kick so high and so far? Who knows.
"Alex." I heard a voice call.
I turn to see Brandon. In the few months that I haven't seen him, he looks a lot different. He has bigger muscles and I bet there's a great six-pack under that shirt, but it's not my place to find out anymore. His scruffy brown hair had been cut short, and spiked up. His clothes were more normal, instead of like Kanye West crap, and he smelled of Axe. Which he used to say that Axe was what poor people bought, and he wasn't poor.
