I thought that I couldn't sleep after he said that I was the girl he was talking about. But I guess I slept pretty good, because I woke up with his arms tight around my torso. Trying to get out of his grip, he woke up.He looked at me and his eyes widened. "Uh, why are you here?!"
"I drove you home last night, because you got plastered. You then wouldn't really let me leave, so I stayed. I fell asleep and I woke up with your arms around me." I said, getting up and grabbing a t-shirt from one of the drawers.
"Oh." He muttered.
"Yup." I said, unbuttoning his shirt he gave me last night and replacing it with the shirt I grabbed from the drawer.
"We didn't.. Did we?" He asked me, scratching the back of his head.
"Nope." I said, looking around for sweatpants.
"Bottom drawer." He pointed out.
I walked over to the dresser and grabbed a pair of sweatpants. I was about to close the drawer when I saw a stack of letters addressed to me. Pulling them out, along with the sweatpants, I look over at Brandon.
"You wrote to me?.." I asked, holding up the letters.
"Oh.." He said. "Yeah.. I did."
I nodded, setting them down to get the sweatpants on. After I pulled them on, I grabbed a pair of socks out of the same drawer.
"Taking my clothes, aren't we?" He laughed.
Looking up, he was out of bed and was now standing a few feet away from me.
"Yeah, I am. But I'll give them back." I said. "Then I'll be out of your life forever. Okay B?"
"Wait, what? I never said I didn't want you in my life." He tried pointing out.
"Uh, you kinda did. I know I said it too, but remember when we fought at the stadium?" I asked.
He was silent for a minute. "Yes. I do."
"Wow, you actually remember!" I laughed sarcastically.
"I didn't mean what I said.." He said.
"Really? Cause to me, you sounded pretty believable." I snorted.
"I'm serious Alex. I just wanted you back. I wanted you to realize that it's me, that I'm the one that you want. The one that's perfect for you. I should be holding you at night. Not him!" His voice raised a little.
He cupped his hands around my face. "I love you."
Those three words were what it took to bring all the emotions back, and all the feelings I had for him. Those three words meant everything to me, and he barely said them. But right now, and right here was when it actually meant something. He said it like it was his last breath. I used to never believe him when he told me he loved me, but in this moment, I believed him. A couple tears dropped from my eyes, and that was what triggered him to finally lean in and kiss me.
This kiss was different from any other kiss I ever had. This kiss wasn't just deep, it was passionate, sweet, and so amazing. I felt so many emotions from my head to my toes, and so many butterflies in my stomach. I could feel more of my tears rolling down my face.
I pulled away, to take a breath, but our foreheads still touched.
"I still think of you everyday." He said.
"I do too." I sighed, realizing that maybe he could be the one.
I pulled him in for another amazing kiss. I could feel his smile on my lips.
