Overflowing Emotions

“Mmm - ahh!” A low moan escaped Taeyong’s lips before he could stop it and he bit down on his lip in embarrassment, trying to keep his emotions in check.

Ten laughed behind him and planted a trail of kisses down the back of his neck. “I like it when you make noises like that.” Ten teased.

“I can’t help it,” Taeyong replied shyly. “How are you so good at massages?” He leaned back into Ten as he ran his hands over his shoulders and back, slowly and deeply massaging his muscles.

“What can I say? I’m good with my hands.” Ten replied in a seductive tone. His hands travelled up Taeyong’s back and snaked down and over his chest.

Taeyong’s skin burned under Ten’s touch. He leaned back and rested his head on Ten’s shoulder, closing his eyes and letting Ten work his magic. Ten’s fingers traced the muscles on his chest and he sucked in a breath as Ten’s hand brushed over his nipple.

“You know,” Ten hummed, “I don’t think you’re doing it on purpose but the way your body reacts to me, it's almost as if you’re teasing me. It makes me want you more.” Ten pinched Taeyong’s hard nipple and another moan escaped his lips.

Then there was a loud thump, and then another. It sounded like it came from Johnny and Mark’s room. Ten looked at Taeyong and frowned.

“Are they usually that loud?” He asked, staring at the wall.

“No, they’re not.” Taeyong replied with a frown. “I’ll go check on them.” He slipped off the bed, threw on a t-shirt and headed out the door. He stopped outside his friend’s cabin and knocked twice. “Mark? Johnny? What are you guys doing in there?” He waited a moment, listening for a response. There was silence.

“Guys, come on.” Taeyong knocked once more and put his head up against the door, trying to hear anything inside.

“Why don’t you try from the other side?” Ten suggested as he leaned around the door to Taeyong’s cabin.

Taeyong tilted his head to the side in confusion. The other side? Ten smiled slightly at Taeyong’s reaction and tugged him back inside.

“From the balcony, I mean. The dividers move.” He explained. They walked out onto the balcony and Ten flicked back two sliding locks, one at the top and the other at the bottom of the white divider that separated Taeyong’s balcony from Mark and Johnny’s. Ten pulled it towards him and pinned it against the wall of the ship.

“How did I not know about this?” Taeyong asked as he stood before the now expanded balcony. They could have done this earlier and had double the shared space.

“It’s okay, lots of people don’t realise you can do this. Not that you would want to anyway unless you had a cabin next to someone you knew.” Ten replied.

The two of them walked over to the sliding door that led to Mark and Johnny’s room. The curtains were pulled so they couldn’t see inside. Taeyong grabbed the handle and pulled it. It smoothly slid open and he pushed aside the curtains before stepping inside.

Johnny was knelt down picking up pages of the cruise itinerary strewn over the floor. At the sound of the balcony door opening, he looked up to meet Taeyong’s eyes. His hair was messy and he looked upset.

“How did you get in?” Johnny asked with a confused expression looking from Taeyong to Ten.

“The dividers move.” Taeyong responded. He moved into the room and crouched down next to his friend. “Are you okay?”

Johnny nodded and continued to pick up the sheets of paper. “Yeah, I’m fine.” He smiled briefly but Taeyong could he hurt in his eyes. He grabbed Johnny’s wrist as he went to pick up another sheet of paper.

“What happened and where is Mark?” Taeyong asked as he looked around the room. There was a water bottle, Johnny's crutches and a pair of sunglasses that were lying on the floor next to the bed but there was no sign of Mark in the small room.

“We heard some loud thuds and wanted to check you guys were alright.” Ten added. He stood next to the open door. The sea breeze blew through and rustled the remaining pieces of paper on the floor.

“Ah, yeah, Mark just left. We were just having an argument… about food.” Johnny replied slowly, clearly trying to come up with a plausible excuse. Taeyong stared back at him, not believing a word of it.

“It was nothing. It’s not a big deal.” Johnny sighed and pushed his hair back. He stood up and slumped down on the bed, dropping the stack of papers next to him.

“Johnny you can tell me what happened.” Taeyong knelt before him and rested his hands on Johnny’s knees.

Something was up. Johnny was always calm and contented but currently he looked worn down, almost defeated. Something had made him upset, and that was generally a difficult thing to do.

Johnny rubbed his eyes and sighed again. “I don’t want to-, I mean Mark wouldn’t want me to talk to you about it.”

Taeyong looked up at him and noticed his right cheek had turned red. “What happened to your cheek?” He asked.

Johnny’s hand flew up to his cheek and he glanced at Taeyong.

“It's nothing, really.” Johnny responded quickly.

Taeyong didn't believe him. Could it be that-

“Did Mark hit you?” Came Ten's incredulous voice from behind them, mimicking exactly what Taeyong was thinking but refused to accept the possibility of.

Johnny's eyes began to water and he shook his head.

“He didn't mean to. It wasn't his fault.” He responded sadly as he rubbed his eyes.

Taeyong couldn't believe what he was hearing. “What do you mean? Why on earth did Mark hit you?”

Johnny looked down at him and Taeyong saw sadness, guilt and regret swirling behind them.

“It’s my fault. I shouldn't have done it but I did.” Johnny said in a small voice.

“Did what?” Taeyong questioned.

“I kissed him.”
