Chapter 8

Alexus' POV

"Okay, what's up?" I laughed.

"Have you seen the way Jack has been staring at you?!" She screeched.

"Which Jack?" I asked confuzzled.

"Isn't it obvious!! GILINSKY!!" She nearly screamed.

"So? He's a douche." I said blowing it off.

"You're his next 'victim'!" She said serious.

"I don't like him so nothing can or will happen. He might be hot but that's it!" I admitted.

"I just don't want you falling for his tricks and being crushed." She said sternly.

"I won't! Trust me!" I smiled.

"So why am I here?" Bella laughed.

"Well I think Shawn likes you." She said wiggling her eyebrows.

"And he might have said you were cute and stuff..." She mumbled before running outside with Bella chasing her.

"What else did he say!!" She yelled chasing after Maria.

I walked out into the sunshine and plopped down onto a lawn chair with my shades and a magazine.

I could feel Jack staring at me now that I knew about it...

"Gilinsky!!! Quit staring!! Its rude!!" I yelled never looking up from my magazine.

I could feel his presence walking over to me with a smirk.

"I stare at all the cute girls." He winked.

"What a horrible pick up line." I said flatly.

"Well if you were looking for a pick up line, I've got one for you." He cleared his throat.

"You know what would look good on you? Me," he smirked.

"That's disgusting." I remarked.

"It's obvious you like me. Just admit it."

"Wow you're too funny." I said fake laughing.

"Just leave already?" I finished.

"I'd rather stay." He smirked sitting on the lawn chair next to me.

I got up and walked to the kitchen getting some chips and sitting on the isle eating them.

"Quit leaving me!" Jack smirked.

His smirk is so annoying!

It's devilish and creepy.

"Has anyone told you, your smirk is creepy." I scoffed.

"Why are you looking at my mouth anyways?" He questioned.

"Because all I see is your mouth moving, no words come out." I smirked and walked to the couch.

I hoped jack would get the hit and leave me alone.

But being the idiot he is, he didn't understand.

"If you don't like me, then kiss me and prove it."

"I'd rather not get some disease from all the girls you've hooked up with."

"How do you know?"

"It's obvious!" I rolled my eyes and walked outside again.

"Guys I think we should get going, it's getting late." Matt suggested.

"Okay see you later guys!" I smiled.

I walked them to the door.

"Night!" I said before shutting the door.

"Girls, ready to go to sleep?" I said yawning.

It was already midnight.

We ended up watching movies til now.

We slept down in the basement because our rooms were really hot.
