I sat there stunned. My mouth went dry. My palms dripped with sweat as the paper I held only once before lie on the ground hunting me. The room began to spin I felt dizzy and angry, but beyond all, I felt betrayed. They continued to talk. the voices were as hollow as a pin-pricked egg. The words carried and unbearable amount of venomous, yet not seems to hurt as much as the name scribbled in cursive on the paper. My eyes began to focus. the first thing I saw was a paper labeled Child Protective Services and beside it contain the Agreement that Darius showed up with. On the witness,  it read Donovan Taylor.  I cant believe he did this to me I thought staring at Bones government name. During my pregnancy with they twin i got extremely depressed and began to smoke weed on one of my runs I ran into him

  Flashback 

I shivered as the cold Chicago wind seeped thought the small wind breaker I had on.  I continued to walk down the familiar ally searching for my next high. my pregnant belly was slightly protruding, but not enough to cause any attention. 

"Who you looking fa" This young guy asked

"I Uhm" I stuttered

he clutched his waistband making the gun in his pants noticeable to me

"Chill she wit me bullet she good" Bones interjected

"Did you do what I told you to do" he asked cutting straight to the chase

"soon I promise, but I need it" I said clutching his arm

" I done told you already" he said pulling out a small sandwich that contains my vice. " no more" he said lifting my chin with his free hand." Not til you do as daddy says" he finished

"please" I begged as he stuffed the small bag with white powder in his pocket. I promise ill leave him and you can move in with me I just need to the end of the week" I pled

he looked at me amused as he put his index finger on the side of my face and slowly began to caressed my flushed cheek" This the last time if he not gone by the end of the week... well then you'll be gone" his tough became aggressive as he yanked my hair. "I'm not playing he said " and I don't want him around my kid." He said I rubbed my pregnant belly. 

END OF FLASHBACK

The memories flooded my mind. That day I went to get high and Darius caught me and of course Arabian was there when Darius left with the kids. I went to Bones, and he promised to take care of it. That night when the kids were returned realized that Bones had reported Darius, and now Darius is retaliating on me. 

" Why would Bones play me like this? Why would he sign those papers and give Darius custody of our kids? What would make him do this?" I thought as the papers containing the entire truth sat on the floor. the DNA test custody forms and the most painful the request for a No Contact (restraining) order.

The truth had gotten out and now there was no more hiding all I could do was watch my life fall apart as I continued to play back the memory of the day, and wonder why?

DARUIS POV

i sat there looking at the look of defeat on Keyanni's face as All the info about the affair the paternity test and the custody sheets slipped from her sweaty palms on to the floor or the courtrooms. She'd already agreed to the terms and with a little pressure so did Bones.

I know she probably wondering how'd I get all this" I smirked as the judge stated the conclusion 

"I grant complete custody to Darius Michelle and as for the No Contact order well have to re adjourn in 2 weeks" The judge state banging the gavel, and with that all of my plans were beginning to fall in place. its just a matter of time til I can ruin them the way I want to. Pay backs a bitch.
