Now who could this be at 3 am

"Who is it" I asked

"Just open the door my grandma said from the other side " I got a surprise" she said

I opened the door and nearly passed out when I seen who was behind her.

" Daddy???" i yelled not believing my eyes

" hey rai long time no see" He said hugging me. i was so shocked i just sat there.

"we have a whole lot to discuss." he said

" imma gone head and put this food in the kitchen and let you 2 talk" my grandma said

"night gramma" i said

"night Ma" my father said

" so what you wanna talk about" i asked confused

" A few things" he said sitting his prison bag down " but that can wait til tomorrow. imma get a hotel room and get some sleep Rainy Rai" he stood up smiling

" goodnight pops" i said passing out on the couch

"night say yo prayers" he said leaving the room

4:15am

i woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I got up to go fix breakfast for everyone. my grandmother hates when i do her job but lately she's been more busy than usual.

I needed to get my head off what my mother said. "you really think Darius was your father. Chile" Her voice rang through my head

I wonder was she lying, or maybe that why she hates me

"kinda early for that huh" i heard from behind me

i jumped a little then turned around to see Keiko sitting in the dinning room with his head resting on the table.

" Kei what are you doin up this early?" i asked

" more like this late i couldn't get any sleep Rai" he said not lifting his head from the old table.

" what me to make you some herbal tea?" i asked reaching into the cabinets for the tea bags

" no rai i just... i dont feel right somethings off" he said " like sum finna happen"

"ive been feeling like that too but you gotta put that feeling to the side come on"

i fixed the tea and sent him to bed as i cooked breakfast.

2 hours later everyone is now at the breakfast table eating and talking then Darius walked in with gift bags in his hands. he was no longer in the clothing from last night he looked fresh out the shower rather than the pin.

" morning fam" he said sitting the bags on the counter

" Daddy" the twins ran to him hugging his leg, while Keiko Just Sat there in disbelief

" Darius get them bags off my counter top" my grandma said wiping her mouth as she stood up to huge her son.

" i got chu ma"

POPS???" keiko said finally deciding to speak up

" com'er boy" he said. keiko popped up out of his seat and speeded over to him dapping him up.

they conversed until it was time for kei to go.

" Kei lets go the bus on the way."i said

" seeyah pops" kk said on his way out
