"Tricky." I cooed, shaking him slightly.
"No, Pete... I don't wanna go to school!" he whined.
"Too bad... c'mon. I'm not arguing with you every day about it!"
"But I'll argue with you about it."
"Patrick Martin Stump! Get Your ass outta bed and go to school and if you don't, I won't kiss or hug you for two weeks."
"So you're dragging that into this!?" he asked in amazement.
I nodded.
"Fine." He rolled over, his back to me.
"Fine." I walked out of the room. Then I walked back in, "So that's it then? You're not going to school?"
"Nope..."
"Not even for a hot night?"
He opened his mouth and then closed it, then opened it again, "You're bribing me for sex if I go to school?"
I nodded.
"Do you realize how wrong that sounds!?"
I shrugged, "I didn't know it mattered that much."
"I'm holding it against you." Patrick got up and walked passed me.

{~Hey...~} I sent.
Sadie didn't reply... until two hours later, {~Hi.~}
{~How are you?~}
{~Honestly?~}
{~Of course.~}
{~Scared.~}
{~Don't be.~}
{~I don't know if I can do this.~}
{~I know you can. :)~}
{~:/ I'm having second thoughts.~}
{~Don't... you're making everyone proud,~}
{~Yeah...~}
{~What are you doing?~}
{~Packing.~}
{~Already!?~}
{~Just small stuff... I'm setting up reservations for an apartment.~}
{~Need any help?~}
{~No thanks.~}
{~Okay.~}
And that was the last I heard from Sadie that day.
I walked out to my car and got in, debating on places to go. Sadie's not wanting company... Pete! I'll go hang out with him.

"Hey, Andy!" I said as I opened the door.
"Hey!" he said.
"What brings you around?"
"Just... boredom." He looked down.
"That's it?" I asked, sensing something wrong.
He shrugged.
"Sadie?"
He nodded. "I thought that since we're just friends, it'd be easier to let her go. But she's making it so hard!"
I nodded, "Lets go sit."
We walked to the couch and he sat down. "Do you think that it'll all be the same after she leaves?"
