Patrick woke up on his own this time, "Shit." He grumbled, "I didn't wanna wake up."
I stirred, "Babe... what's wrong?" I asked sleepily.
He nuzzled into me and hugged me tightly, "I have to go to school today."
I checked my phone, "Shit, Patrick. You need to get up and get ready or you'll be late."
"But you said I can skip school today." He whined.
"I said maybe. And you're going. I'll go was up Joe and Marie." I walked downstairs and knocked on the guest room.
"Nah..." I heard Joe mumble, "Not interested."
"Get outta bed. You have school."
Joe groaned, "You're as bad as my mom and Marie combined."
I heard Marie slap Joe, "Get out of bed."
"SEE!?" Joe cried.
I laughed, "I will drag you outta bed."
"You do that and I'm bringing my girlfriend with me." I could imagine Joe hugging Marie tightly.
I opened the door.
Marie tried to get out of Joe's grasp, "Let go of me."
"Nooo." Joe said, kissing her neck.
Marie giggled.
"I will never let go of you." Joe said.
"Hurry up, love birds."
"Nooo. I'm taking Marie home." Joe said.
I laughed, "Get out of my house then." I said jokingly.
"Fine then!" Joe stood and picked Marie up and carried her out of the house.
-Joe's.POV-
Marie squealed, "Put me down!"
"Okay." I pretended to drop her.
She squealed again, "Joe, stop it!"
I laughed and put her in the passenger side of the car.
She smiled.
"You love it. Admit it." I said.
"Sometimes." She winked.
"All the time." I smiled.
She laughed.
I shut the door and walked around to the drivers side and got in.
"I don't feel up to going to school today."
"You attend a school online. You don't "go to" school." I said.
"Well I don't feel like doing school work then."
I laughed, "Then don't."
"But then I won't pass any classes."
I took her hand, "Then do it." I started the car and headed home.
She sighed.
I rubbed the back of her hand with my thumb, "So... want me to stay home? My parents are gonna be gone."
She smiled, "Please?"
"K." I said.
-Pete's.POV-
"Pete! I don't wanna go!" Patrick whined.
"You're going." I said.
"BUT, PETE...!" He whined again.
