"You signed me up for softball! Mom I told you I only run track!" "Sweetie, this is a new sport, and all of your friends play, why don't you give it a try?" I really don't know what to think. I just don't think I can do this! I'll make a fool of myself! What will everyone think! I'll strike out every time! What do I do! Those were my thoughts when Mom told me I'm playing softball, I mean what can I do? Just go with the flow I guess. I mean what's the worst that could happen? Make a fool of myself, yea. Damage my whole career as an athlete, sure. But what else? Nothing. I'll just have to suck it up and deal with it. Maybe I'll be good! I just have to be optimistic! I won't make varsity, I haven't played all my life like the other girls but hey,it should be fun! My best friends on the softball team, Autumn. And at least Joseph will be there. I mean I like him, but I don't know if he likes me. I told him over text, but he said he "didn't like anyone" yea right! Excuses! Why doesn't he just say? Grow up! Oh yea!
