Chapter 4

Chapter 4-Light

It was more than a month since term has started in Hogwarts. Nadja and Keshie frequently meet up during break times. They both talk by the Courtyard fountain. They casually see Harry walking pass by at times with Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger tagging a bit behind sometimes. One noon time, a student from Nadja's Charm Class comes up to her and tells her that he knows a girl that may be able to be friends with Nadja. With curiosity, Nadja agrees to meet with this girl the boy describes. The boy tells her to wait in the courtyard as he will call this mysterious girl he mentioned. A few minutes passes by, the boy comes back with a Hufflepuff girl with really short, black bob cut hair. Her eyes are dark brown. The girl slowly goes up to Nadja and the boy gladly introduced each other.
"Nadja, this is Light Von Pendragon and Light, this is Nadja Marleigh."
The boy then waves and left both of them behind while Keshie sits at the other corner, looking at both of them.
"Hi, nice meeting you, Light.. he says that we might be able to be friends.."
Both girls look at each other with a bit of awkwardness before they finally decide to talk openly.
"Hey, what class do you like best?" Nadja asks.
"Oh, well I really love Care for Magical Creatures even though, we wouldn't be able to have that class until Year three or four..I just enjoy creatures.. they are all very interesting and precious."
"For me, I really do enjoy Charms Class.. but I do enjoy Potions too even though Professor Snape is a bit strict sometimes, he's a very good teacher.. I am kind of excited to learn Defense Against the Dark Arts..but I really love flying on a broom for Flying Class."
  "Wow, you really do enjoy Hogwarts classes, do you?"
"Yes! They're the best! Who else wouldn't like classes here in Hogwarts?"
Nadja turns and calls for Keshie. Keshie then comes to them.
"Keshie, meet Light and Light, meet Keshie."
Keshie and Light then shakes hands.
"You're a Hufflepuff too but I barely notice you in the common room?" Keshie wonders.
"Oh, that is because I sometimes go out and stay outside, I go and find magical creatures or I just stay in the dormitory and sleep in."
All the three then laughs and find the statement somewhat relatable.
"What about you Keshie, what's your favorite Hogwarts class?" Light asks.
"Hmm.. I wonder that too.. I probably would say Charms Class.. I think I'd probably like Herbology but that's in Year two though.."
Both Light and Nadja nods in agreement. More days have passed and it was Halloween. During dinner, all students gather in the Great Hall to eat but suddenly an uproar happens few minutes later.

Everyone turns their head when they see Professor Quirrell runs hurriedly into the Great Hall.
