Chapter 14

Chapter 14- Dementors Continued

Hogwarts is starting to feel a bit gloomy since the last event that happened by the edge of Hogwarts. Some students start to fear going out due to Dementors. However, Ian starts to hang out with the girls. His reasoning is that he wants to make sure that Seven and her friends are safe. All five of them sit at the Great Hall. Nadja reads her Charms textbook while the rest sits, indulge in a conversation.
"I am certain that you are here because you want to protect your lover girl," Keshie snickers.
Ian goes quiet for a few seconds but then speaks up.
"I am true to my words.. I want to make sure each one of you are safe.. you are friends with her then that means all of you are my friends too.." Ian looks away.
"What's this? You're confessing that we are your friends because we are friends with Seven here," Keshie elbows Seven teasingly.
Ian clears his throat while still looking away.
"Why don't you two admit it already," Keshie giggles.
"That reminds me," Light speaks up, "how did you two meet?"
Nadja looks up at the four curiously then continues to read her textbook.
"Well.." Seven blushes.
   "We bumped onto each other while I was running around and she was on her way to the library.." Ian explains nervously.
  "Then he tails me like a puppy right after.." Seven glares while blushing.
  "Hey hey! I was wondering why you had a long face and I gave you an advice," Ian grins at Seven.
  "But still!!!" Seven flusters.
  "You two really get along well, I might as well think that you two are meant for each other," Keshie laughs.
Ian and Seven looks away to opposite sides at the same time.
  "See, told ya," Keshie adds.
Seven then looks at Ian.
  "I have to admit.. I never really met a Slytherin who is as nice as you Ian.. I now do not dwell upon my sort thanks to you.. I'm glad I met you.." Seven frowns while face still flustered.
Ian's eyes light up like a candle light. He is happy to hear the proclamation Seven made. He then smiles softly with happiness flowing through his eyes. Both eyes meet.
  "I too am very happy to meet you.." Ian smiles.
Keshie and Light clears their throat abruptly.
  "You two forgot we are here.." Light points out.
  "I second that," Keshie answers.
Seven looks more flustered that her face turns red.
  "Princess here became a tomato after her moment with her prince.." Keshie teases.
  "Shut Up!" Seven screams at Keshie.
Light and Keshie laughs.
  "I got to wonder.. Ian.. you jumped in front of Seven when Dementors were there.. what was it like?" Light asks.
Seven, Light and Keshie then look serious.
  "It was a nightmare in wake.. I felt as if my whole energy were gone.. it was very appalling.. I— It is as if my emotions were being drained, as if it was making me sad or in despair.." Ian explains seriously.
Nadja looks up because of Ian's explanation. All of them look at each other with seriousness.
