Chapter 20

Chapter 20- Gloomy

After the event that changed everything. Voldemort and his people starts to invade Hogwarts. Every student grows terrified from what awaits the school. The last year is here. Seventh year is now here. Seven and her friends are growing wary. The door to Hogwarts opens. All students line up. A new headmaster has now been appointed. Severus Snape is now the new headmaster of Hogwarts. The news have floated around the wizarding world, including the Daily Prophet. All heads turn to Snape. Some could still not believe this have happened. Harry Potter,Hermione and Ronald Weasley are not in Hogwarts as of now for whatever reason there is. No one knows but themselves and probably Dumbledore when he was still around. There are even more strict curfews now that Professor Snape is the new headmaster. Most of all, there are now Death Eaters present in Hogwarts. There are Death Eaters teaching some classes now as well. Fear is engulfing this school. No one is safe. Some students decide to divide and actually in hiding, in fear. There are not much strict rules about common rooms because no one cares anymore.
  "We should be sticking together or who knows what actually awaits us.. we may never know what these wizards are capable of.." Seven suggests.
  "Yes, that's a good idea.." Keshie whispers.
  "There are Death Eaters roaming around now too.. it's so wrong.." Nadja adds.
  "This is a start of a revolution perhaps?" Light replies.
  "Who knows," Ian answers, "I swear I'll do my all to protect Seven.."
  "You better!" Keshie chides.
Across the room is Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, some Gryffindors and their friends.
"Ginny.." Nadja speaks to Ginny.
  "Yes?" Ginny replies.
  "Do you think Potter and his friends will be alright?"
  "I'm having my faith and I know Harry is a strong wizard.. I have faith in them.. I'm sure they will be here in no time.. they're safe I'm sure of it!" Ginny hopes.
  "I'm hoping too.. we have to do everything we can to help everyone and Hogwarts.. after all, We all found home here.. we can't let it down!" Nadja exclaims.
  "Indeed.." Ginny smiles.
Both then goes to their friends and wishes for the best. Classes have been such a gloomy atmosphere. It is hard to study and learn when there are people looking at you as if they are observing every move you make. Defense Against the Dark Arts becomes more and more darker than it supposed to be or how it used to  feel. The group gathers again in the East Towers.
  "Do you think more and more those people are going to be present here?" Ian asks.
  "Hopefully not," Seven answers.
  "I mean they even destroyed the dishes and everything when all students were not around.. before terms resumed... all staffs had to repair it with Reparo... if such things happen then anything would.. after.. Dumbledore is now not here.. everything is wack.." Keshie sighs sadly.
  "We should never lose hope! That is the last thing we must think of! Think of Dumbledore! That's the least thing he wants us to think or do !" Nadja gives a point.
All of them gives a moment of silence.
  "She is right... we must not give up! Who knows! Harry and his friends might come back and he would save us.. he's the chosen one.." Light adds.
  "We can't just rely on him, when we can, we must do something.." Ian answers.
  "Indeed," Nadja agrees.
  "Whatever happens, we must do something.. whatever happens to us, we must stick together and do what we can.. for each other... for everyone.. for Hogwarts!" Seven advises loudly.
All then nods in agreement. They decide to wait for a while for Harry's return and do what they can to help after once there is an opportunity. They do the same routine of going to class, meet up in places then eat in now the gloomy dining hall and then hope. One day, the group sits on the floor in one of the Hogwarts room. Light sits by the corner of the room. Luna Lovegood happens to enter and sit right next to her.
  "You know, it's amazing," Luna opens up.
Light turns her head next to her.
  "Yes, what is?" 
  "There are creatures here in Hogwarts that are not seen by people and there are many great things that are not appreciated much cause people can not see it.." Luna smiles.
Light does not answer at first. She is both confused and tries to understand what it means but could not.
  "Yeah.. you are right.." Light smiles in confusion.
Luna looks far away.
Months have passed perhaps? No one really knows on exact because of how Hogwarts turn up to be. There are few words traveling by some students that Harry Potter has been spotted in Hogsmeade that night. Eventually, Professor Snape knows it as well. He gathers all student into the Great Hall. However, this hall is now empty. There are no chairs nor tables. Not a single item is found in it anymore besides the dark lighting of the used to be bright hall. Everything is now different. All students line up. He then makes a speech about Harry Potter being spotted in Hogsmeade. Two death eaters stand behind him on opposite sides. Some could not believe that Severus Snape, a potions teacher of Hogwarts would be a member of the Death Eaters. Snape makes a threat about students or staffs being caught assisting Potter would end up with a consequence equally as him. No one answers. He then asks the students about it. No answer still simulate the room. However, someone slides across the center of the room. It was Harry Potter. All heads turn to him. He screams at Severus Snape who is remaining calm.
  "How dare you stand where he stood! A man who trusted you! Tell them how you killed him that night.." Harry screams with anger. The door swings open and his friends are in as well as some people such as Remus Lupin, Weasleys and more. Severus draws his wand and so did Harry. Professor Mcgonagall dashes across in the middle of the two. She draws her wand. A duel speculates between Mcgonagall and Professor Snape. The look on Professor Snape looks both in anguish and a moment of hesitation. He deflects the spells onto the two Death Eaters standing at the back. He flees the scene. Mcgonagall screams at him, calling Snape a coward. Every student cheers. There are loud screaming and claps around the room. The cheering becomes short-lived. There is an echoing voice in the air. The voice of Voldemort. He gives out a deal about handing Harry Potter to him and no one will be hurt. The ringing on everyone's ears with his voice becomes agitating. Nadja closes her eyes, resisting the voice. Seven covers her ears, trying not to listen. Light does the same. Keshie does both. Some students scream from it. When the voice is gone. A voice cuts through the moment of silence.
"What are you waiting for? Someone grab him," a girl from Slytherin House yells.
  "Isn't that Pansy from Slytherin House ?" Keshie whispers to Light.
   "Yeah it is," Light sighs.
There is confusion in the air. Professor Filch runs to the Hall with Mrs. Norris around his arms.
  "Students out of bed, students out of bed! students in the  corridor!" Filch screams.
  "They are supposed to be out of bed you blithering idiot!" Mcgonagall screams.
  "Oh... sorry ma'am," Filch lowers his head.
Mcgonagall then says his timing is perfect because he is going to escort the whole  Slytherin House into the dungeons.
  "Oh no.." Keshie reacts.
   "What are we going to do.. you know.." Light panics.
  "We will find a way.." Nadja answers.
Harry explains about an item he is looking for, which is a diadem. Everyone starts running around. The three girls does as well.
