Traumatizing

Yoongi cried while Jackson carried him bridal style in his arms. We tried to run from the catastrophe as fast as possible but it was a struggle because of Yoongi's legs.

He said that he couldn't feel or move them.

We found what seemed to be a safe place and sat him down on the ground.

We were hiding under a piece of a stone wall by the beach. There wasn't anyone here so it looked calm.

"Yoongi, it'll be okay. It'll be over soon, you hear me? We'll be back to living our happy lives together. A-And your legs are fine! We'll take you to a doctor and you'll be fine. Okay? Everything will be alright." I said and cupped his cheek.

I wasn't even sure if I believed my own words...

We don't know how long this war will go on for or if things will ever go back to normal.

A single tear fell from Yoongi's eye and he laced our fingers together.

"I think we all know that nothing will ever be normal, Jungkook." He said while more tears slid down his cheeks. I wiped them away with my thumb.

"Have some hope, Yoongi. I promise you that everything will be okay. You will be okay. Trust me" I kissed him passionately on the lips and he kissed back.

We pulled apart and I held up the little silver angel wing from my necklace. He held up his demon wing and we put them together to create a pair of wings.

"I love you" I said.

"I love you too"

We have been hiding here for hours now. It was already dark.

This has been extremely traumatizing for all of us...

I will never forget the loud sounds of bomb explosions.

All the soldiers and how they shot a bunch of innocent people.

All the horrifying screaming.

All the blood.

All the dead bodies laying around hopelessly.

I shut my eyes tightly and started shaking by just the thought of it.

All the terrible sounds have been silenced and we had no idea whether it was over or not.

We didn't know if it was safe.

We didn't wanna risk it so we stayed there a little while longer.
