Y/N P.O.V

I was sitting in front of the man my parents wanted me to marry. ' Kim Mingyu ' was his name. 'The best bachelor yet' your mother said. Well so far this dinner is going well. Your parents were there, and his mother was present, but this was boring, and pressuring. I've been feeling that a lot lately pressure. From my parents of course, and I understand that they want the best for me.... But I feel like I can make my own decisions, and choices.

"So Y/N what are you planning to do in the near future?" asked by Mingyu, I just looked at him for a moment trying to muster up enough words. "Uhm is journalism on the list for ya?"

I gave him a slight smirk trying to keep him intrigued. I personally think it's sad that I have to do this. You know roping, and seducing someone i'm not even interested in. "Honey aren't you hungry? You've barely touched your food" my mom asked me. "Nah for some reason I feel full" I lied... I'm not full I'm just uneasy, and suffocated.. "Well that's okay love cause I've got a surprise for you" Mingyu slightly sung. My eyes nearly popped out of my socket. "Surprise?? Already?!" I caused a slight screech from that statement.

"Well yea... Don't be scared it's harmless" and with that he dug into his coat pocket, and pulled out a box. Opening it my mother, his mother, my father, and I were nearly dead. Inside was a necklace... A purple emerald necklace. I didn't think he'll go this far. I'm starting to feel queasy in the stomach, and felt like I couldn't breathe. "Excuse me.. I'll be back" I just left.

Mark's P.O.V

Sometimes I wished I can find love, but I just feel like I'm going to end up with Johnny sitting in a rocking chair talking about these vary moments. Well at lest I won't have cats -chuckles to himself-. Looking at my drawings I think traveling and drawing women is my purpose... I see a girl running out of the lobby of the ship to the deck where I'm at.. It looks like is crying. She heads straight to the rails of the ship. She starts to look up, and stare at the water like she had an idea. She then got on top of the podium trying to get closer to the rails. Is she trying to commit suicide?

"I wouldn't do that" I said loud enough for her hear. I knew I succeeded cause she turned her head, well she turned her body to look at me. "Excuse me" she said with a slight sassy tone. "Well your family will surely miss you, and that water is pretty cold" I said while removing my watch. "Like you care.. You don't even know me" she still had the sassy tone of voice. "Well i'm going to have to save you soo... It's up to you" I started to remove my jacket, socks, and shoes. I can tell she was rethinking her choices.

"I don't care I just want to die and be happy" She said while still facing me. "If that was true you would've been jumped" I said while walking closer slowly. She looked behind her, and looked back at me. I must admit she was beautiful... Her chocolate skin shines pleasantly with the help of the moonlight. She was truly mesmerizing. Taking further steps I finally get closer to her seeing her more clearer. "Come on... It'll be worth it in the long run" I extended my arm for her to grab my hand. She did just that, but she tripped, and fell over the rails still holding my hand well now gripping tightly.

"PLEASE DON'T LET ME FALL" Is all she managed to scream. "IT'S OKAY I GOT YOU JUST GRIP ON TIGHT" I said with a rush of pressure on my body. I'm pulling her body while I'm trying to keep balance of my own body weight. I finally pull her up. "THANK YOU SO MUCH" she looked at me while looking at me. Astonishment is all I felt. "No problem" is all I can muster up. Still holding her in my arms I repel away from her to give her my jacket.

"May I ask your name?" She asked while shaking uncontrollably from the frigid temperatures of water hitting her from when she was dangling from the ship not to long ago. "Uhm Mark" I felt dumb, but confident in that moment. "Yours?" I asked. "Y/N" she said while moving her chin frantically from the cold temperature. I then suddenly hear voices yelling, and a firm hand pulling my shoulder. "Y/N are you okay! What did he do to you" a man said while getting in my face. "Well if saving her is a bad deed your stuck" is all I said moving past the loud man, and his, Y/N's parents. "I going to send you to jail you poor swine" said the man again. . I'm just starting to think he don't know how to shut up.

I turn around to face him. He looks at me intensely like he wanted to fight me."Mingyu it's true he saved me from almost dying" I hear Y/N speak up. We all look at her.. He looks at me with a less tense look, and just does a quick nod, and flashes a smile. "Yea all is forgiven" I said while grabbing my things and heading back to my room.
