Suddenly Hilbert opened his eyes. A large branch was in front of him. He tried to move in the air and luckily he was able to grab the branch with his left hand, almost letting the Snivy fall. He crashed against the stone wall and he felt like his bone had been flung out of it's hold. Tears sprung in his eyes off the pain and he bit on his lip which made it bleed. Hilbert groaned and lifted Snivy up with his right arm so that the Pokémon could climb onto it. The Grass Snake Pokémon quickly climbed on the branch. Hilbert heard screaming and saw the blonde haired girl falling towards him. Without thinking he grabbed the girl's wrist. The screaming stopped and he heard a loud thud. The girl had, just like him, slammed into the rocky wall.

Hilbert groaned again and turned his head so that he could see the girl. She was staring off into the ocean and the waves crashing against the stones below them.

"Are you alright!?" he yelled and the girl didn't say anything but nodded.

"The name's Bianca. At least you know my name if we die here", she said. "Hilbert", he replied.

They hung there for a few seconds in silence and Hilbert looked up again.

"No need to worry. I bet that they heard the fighting and you screaming. They will come soon!" he tried to reassure the girl.

"I sure hope they do", the girl said. "What kind of Pokémon did they try to steal from you?" Hilbert asked to break the silence again.

"My Tepig", she responded. He felt something tap on his shoulder and he looked up again.

Snivy pointed his hand to the edge of the cliff and he saw a couple of men standing there yelling and pointing at them, at least that's what he thought. It was too dark to see it clearly but it was dimly lit so that Hilbert could see the shapes.

"Told ya!" he yelled at Bianca. Bianca looked up and he saw hope in her eyes.

Hilbert cursed as he felt his fingers slipping away from Bianca's wrist and the slippery wood from the branch.

'Not yet, we're almost safe', he thought and he tried to fasten his grip.

He saw that a rope was flung over the edge and a Swanna was carrying it towards them. Bianca took the rope and held onto it very tightly so that her knuckles turned white. "Don't hold it so tight, you will lose your grip a lot easier that way", Hilbert said to her. Bianca nodded and loosened her grip a little. The Swanna carefully lifted her up and flew her to de edge where the townspeople were waiting for the Flying type Pokémon.

Hilbert took this opportunity to give his left arm some rest and got a hold of the branch with his right arm.

He breathed in and out, just now realising how much his left shoulder hurt.

Snivy looked at him from where he was sitting. The Grass type Pokémon had bound it's vines around the branch so that he could balance.

'Smart Pokémon', Hilbert thought as he eyed the Pokémon.

When he saw the Swanna return with the rope, he grabbed the rope with much difficulty and grabbed the Snivy so that the Swanna could lift him up too.

When the branch and the crashing waves disappeared from view, the anxiety within Hilbert ebbed away and soon it was replaced with fury.

Thanks to him the goons had gotten away and thanks to him his sister is in grave danger.

But why did they take Rosa?

Once he felt the soft feeling of grass beneath his feet, he let go of the rope.

When Bianca touched his left arm he flinched in pain; he might need to let a doctor check it out.
