(Swear warning in this one guys haha...)
"Hey Bianca! And I'm not so sure, Leo and Swift are pretty beat up if I must say" Hilbert answered with doubt lingering within is sentence.
"Pleeeease? The Pokémon I caught have become a little stronger!" Bianca looked at him with puppy eyes. Hilbert looked at his Pokémon, Swift was still in his arms swashing her tail like an angry feline and Leo was on the ground already in a fighting position.
"Fine" he sighed after he received a reassuring look from his starter, Swift looked at him with an annoyed expression though that almost made Hilbert chuckle.
"Alright here I come ready or not!" Bianca cried as she released her Lillipup Clover from her pokéball. "Leo you ready?" Hilbert asked his starter.
"Sni!" he cried, "okay use tackle!" "Clover use your own tackle!" Bianca cried.
Out of Leo's hood came two small vines, they wrapped around the incoming Lillipup and slammed it against the ground.
"Wait that's not tackle" Hilbert muttered, he quickly grabbed his pokédex and scanned Leo. "So you learned vine whip eh? Good job Leo!" Hilbert praised his starter. Leo puffed out his chest and glared at the Lillipup in front of him. It managed to get up and stood shaking on her four tiny paws.
"Lilli!" it barked and Clover growled at the Snivy in front of her.
"Give up already" Leo taunted, he smirked as Clover snarled.
"Never I'll show my trainer that I can beat you!" she barked, "would like to see you try" Leo answered her.
This gave him another growl which only made his ego stronger.
"Use vine whip again, Leo!" Hilbert said, "counter it with bite!" Bianca quickly said.
Clover opened her mouth and revealed glowing fangs. Out of Leo's hood came the familiar vines and they shot toward the Lillipup. Clover, however, bit down when one came too close and Leo cried out in pain. He gave the Lillipup a harsh glare and rammed into her with a glowing tail.
"Leo!" Hilbert said, anger lingering in the back of his throat. But it was enough to make Clover faint.
Leo scoffed, "you better not do that again" Hilbert bit back. Leo turned around to look at his trainer and nodded.
"Good"
"Aww you did well Clover now rest, Leo that was not nice when we meet again you must apologize" Bianca said disapprovingly.
"Vy", "like hell I will" he muttered.
"Go Lilly!" she yelled. She enlarged her second pokéball, after she had returned her Lillipup to her pokéball, and out came her fire starter. The Tepig cried it's name and snorted and scraped his right hoof over the dirt causing soil to fly up.
Hilbert thought about switching Leo out but Swift had fallen asleep again and Leo looked ready to battle the opponent.
"Let's go for a tackle Leo" Hilbert said eyeing his starters weakness type, "now it's my turn, use ember!"
Leo quickly ran toward the fire type, his tail already glowing white. The Tepig opened her mouth ans spouted small embers at the incoming Pokémon. Leo cried in pain as he tried to dodge the attack but didn't manage to. He fell on the ground and managed to get up after a few tries.
He looked awful, scorch marks littered his body and Leo gritted his teeth to distract him from the pain. "Come on Leo switch out" Hilbert cried but the starter shook his head.
