~Daniel's pov~

Her aura was so strong, her smell was heavenly, and her she was, right in front of us.

"Now explain." Mia said, putting both hands on her hip.

I stayed quiet, distracting myself by sweeping, but I couldn't really distract myself. I kept on fidgeting, my fingers aching to run it through her hair, to pull her close, and hug her tightly in my arms. I never wanted to let her go. Not that I will.. Not again.

"Uhhh..." Jonah began, but hissed from pain. There wasn't really an explanation, but to get her back. That's all we wanted. To have her back, but I can tell that it won't be that easy. By the looks of it, she's changed so much in 5 years. In a good way. She looked more mature, the huge difference was her hair colour. She picked white, which was unique and it suited her well. I was silently praying that we would get her back. No matter what it takes.

'I would take a bullet to get her back, I would run a million miles to get her back, I would kill-'

'Just kidnap her like we did the first time.' My wolf barked in, making me stop myself from choking on my spit.

'I can't just do that! That was a one time thing!' I scolded him.

'You said you or more likely WE will do whatever it takes to get her back. I just gave you the solution.' He said in a matter-of-fact tone.

I hated it when he was right.

After a few minutes of awkward silence, Mia held her right hand up and pinched the brim of her nose. "I swear- If you think that you could get me back, your chance was already gone when I left. I wanted to start a new life and that's what I did. Please, leave me alone." She said slowly, making sure to make us hear every single word. One word at a time, made my heart break a little more.

"We aren't leaving you alone. We've done that for 5 years. Now we're taking you back." Corbyn spoke up.

He had a fair point.

Mia opened her eyes slowly, which surprised us when we saw so many emotions flashing through her eyes; Happiness, Sadness, Love, Hatred, and Adoration in them. Out of all the emotions, the one emotion that caught my attention was Hatred. My heart was aching, throbbing in pain. My wolf wanted to take control and take her right then and there.

"I can't go with you. Even if I did want to go." She whispered, blinking rapidly to stop the tears from flowing. We all looked at her with hope in our eyes.

"We'll make it up to you! We'll do anything- just come back to us... Please!" I implored, I stopped sweeping a long time ago just to stare at her.

She looked at me, a grimace formed on her face. "Dani...-" That nickname.. "I can't go with you guys. Like I said, I have a new life. I can't just go back to you." Mia said with a stone face expression, blocking out her true emotions.

"Yes you can come back to us! What is possibly stopping you? I will-" Jack got interrupted by the door bell ringing.

Mia's face paled.

"Inside that room now!" She hissed in a low whisper.

"Why?" I whispered back.

"I said now! I will hit you with my slipper if you don't!" She threatened, making us bolt into the room. We left the door open a bit, just to see what was going on the otherside.

Mia took in a deep breath and exhaled, she blinked her eyes slowly possibly still trying to comprehend everything that has happened. She went towards the door and opened it. To reveal a very cranky and sleepy looking lady.

"Hi girl! How are you doing? You probably still have some cramps, which I brought ice cream to cure! By the way, how do you deal with a 5 year old hyper toddler? He is a complete nightmare! He found a way to get into the cookie jar- which was meant for him but it was for Christmas! How do you calm him down? He's been up all night singing the alphabet non-stop!" This girl rambled on and on, getting lost in her own world. Mia giggled at the girl's rambling.

"Tera- calm down! Geez, you're going to make both our brains explode! Like I said- calm down!" Mia demanded in a playful tone, trying her best not to laugh.

"How can I calm down when I meant to have my beauty sleep but only got 2 minutes of it!" The girl who I suppose to be Tera- yelled at our beloved mate, holding back a growl in our throats.

"Well- you kind of deserve it because why would you keep the cookie jar in the lower cabinet? He's not 3 anymore Terallena!" Mia scolded Tera.

"Don't call me that! You know I hate that name!!" Tera shouted, lunging at Mia. Mia shrieked, trying to run away but was a bit too late. She was caught in the middle of Tera's arms, struggling to get out of it. We almost got out of our hiding spots until we heard laughter. Specifically- Mia's laughter.

"S-Stop!! I-It t-tickles!!" She laughed out, trying to get out of Tera's grasp.

"You started it! Now you get the taste of your own medicine!!" Tera said, tickling Mia's side.

After a couple minutes of them playing around, they finally broke apart with huge smiles on their faces, they hugged and laughed at each other. It was quite cute actually. "Now, where's that hyper little 5 year old?" Mia gushed out, smiling wider than before.

"Here he comes, your majesty!" Tera said playing along.

In came a cute toddler, smiling and bouncing in the room, very hyper indeed.

He suddenly eye contact to Mia, which made his eyes light up.

"MOMMY!!" He squealed, running towards Mia and hugging her legs.

That one word was able to make us fall out of our hiding place and stare at her in shock.

"You're a mom?!" We said in unision.
