~Mia's pov~

My alarm clock beeped, notifying my that it was currently 4 a.m. I slowly and cautiously got out of bed, not waking Alexander up. I went into the bathroom, took a shower and brushed my teeth. I wore the clothes I picked out last night, put lipstick, blush, highlighter, and some eye-shadow. After I was done, I went downstairs, and started to cook rice and scrambled eggs, since it was the quickest meal that would make us full until lunch.

I grabbed Alexander's lunch bag, and put his snack and lunch in it. I did the same with my own bag. I went upstairs after I cooked the meal, and woke Alex up. He stirred a bit, and groaned, complaining that he didn't want to go to school.

"Get up buddy." I said softly.

"NoOoOoo!!! I will sleep here for the rest of time." He said sternly, pulling the covers over his head.

I sighed, I guess I had bring out the big guns, "That's okay, you can stay here. I'll just unplug the wifi, and close all the lights." I said calmly.

Before I could even blink, he was out of bed, racing towards the bathroom to take a shower, and change into his clothes for school. I giggled, and headed back downstairs.

This was our morning routine everyday since he's been at school. I heat up some warm water, and waited until the water boiled. When it did, I got 2 glasses, and put it on the kitchen table. I went to get the milk carton in the fridge, and some chocolates. I poured the hot water, then the milk. I put about 4 bars of chocolate in each glass, and started to stir the drink with a spoon. I put the items back in the fridge (the milk carton and chocolate), and continued stirring the chocolate in the milk. Alexander finally came downstairs, and wore a red turtleneck shirt, and some greenish-gray coloured pants.

We quickly ate our breakfast, and our drink. I got the key of the house, and my car keys. Alex got his bag, then we headed outside, I let him get in the school bus, kissed him good-bye, and waited for the school bus to be out of my sight, after I got inside my car.

I work for the same branch for Alexander's school, but I'm teaching in a different location, which was 15 minutes away from Alex's. I turned on the ignition, and put the stick shift in drive. When I got to the school, my phone started ringing, and then I checked to see who was the I.D caller.

It was Tera.

Tera was the girl I helped in the party, when she was vomiting her guts out in the toilet. It happens to be that- she lives here in New York, and she is one of the teachers teaching at the school. I was shocked when I saw her again, and so was she. Tera is my bestfriend now, we tell each other all our secrets, (That means she knows about the boys) all the things we discuss about, is always kept between us.

"Hey girl!" Tera's voice spoke,

"Hey girl, why are you calling? Aren't you suppose to be working?" I joked, grabbing my bag, and closing the car door.

"Do you want me to look after Alexander tonight?" She suddenly asked,

"Why?" I asked, confused.

"Didn't you check the calender today? It's a full moon." She said, then the realization hit me.

"Wait- Tonight's a full moon?!?" I asked in a panic tone,

"Yeah, I can bring ice cream and some ice when I come and pick Alexander up." Tera said, in a calm voice.

"Okay, thank you so much Tera! I owe you so much!" I thanked her.

"It's the least I could do, plus you had to witness me puke my guts out." She said, making me chuckle.

"Bye!"

"Bye Tera." I said, hanging up.

Every full moon, I'll go into heat. Ever since I've left L.A, and haven't seen the boys, I will be in the state as I was when I was with the boys, but it would be 10 times stronger, and painful. But there was another cruel twist, the place where they marked me, will bleed out. It is horrible, and frightening. I passed out multiple times, and went to the hospital. Sometimes if Tera didn't check up on me, I would have died from blood loss. My theory is that, the boys have marked the other girls, so I'm in this horrible state every full moon.

I sighed, trying to not think of the pain I would be in tonight. I had to be brave, I've done this for 5 years, I can do it again. I won't give up on life, no matter how painful or horrible it may be. If the boys didn't want me, I had Tera and Alexander. I had fans that support me. The world is so unfair, there will always be haters, but I can't satisfy everyone. I just have to push through, and use the things I have.

I was snapped out of my reverie when the bell rung, and I hurried inside the school.

"Great, now I'm late.." I mumbled to myself, going inside the classroom.
