~Mia's pov~

The sun was setting, and soon the moon will rise. Which meant that I would go through the torture I endured for 5 years. My phone beeped, informing me that someone was calling me.

"Hello?" I asked the caller on the other side.

"Mia." Logan said, breathless.

"Logan? Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine.. I came to inform you that the boys are in New York."

"No kidding. They came to the school I was teaching. Zach touched my hand when I placed it on the door handle. It's not long before they put the pieces together..." I grumbled, looking out the window in my bathroom. Silence came afterwards.

"Logan?" I asked, concerned by the sudden silence.

"You need to lock all doors, and windows. Barricade yourself inside the house." Logan ordered.

"Why?"

"The boys aren't stupid. They probably know who you are by now, and waiting outside your house. But that's not the point... the point is that-"

"The point is what Logan?"

"Jake. Him and Erika got into a fight. He's hungry for blood Mia. I'm scared for your safety, since he is also in New York."

"What?! Why didn't you tell me that he was here?!" I yelled, furious.

"I didn't know that Erika would start a fight with him! He just said that he wanted a vacation with her, and said to not worry. But now that he's extremely angry, I'm not sure if he'll stop until he's satisfied." Logan sighed, frustrated.

"Just please barricade yourself in. I will never forgive myself if I lose you. The boys will go on a rampage, and I already have a lot on my hands." Logan begged, making me pinch the bridge of my nose, then agreed.

"Bye Logan."

"Bye Mia. Thank you again." Logan hung up, making me sigh.

I got out from the bathroom, and started moving shelves, tables, chairs, and sofas into all the doors. It wasn't much, but it was enough to let me escape if needed. After alot of fustration and cursing quietly, I finally finished blocking the doors. I locked all the windows, and put cardboard over them. Re-enforcing the cardboard with some duct tape.

"Finally!" I exasperated, wiping off the beads of sweat on my forehead.

"Why does Jake have to be here??? Like why at this time???" I mumbled to myself.

"Did Erika forget to feed him food or something? I mean, I would go mad if no one bought me food but-" I stopped talking to myself when I felt like being punched in the stomach.

The wind was knocked out of me, I desperately gasped for air. I fell to the floor, but held my hands out to prevent hurting my face. I started coughing hard, clutching my stomach. I got my phone, which fell out of my hands when I took my fall. I touched my temple, and looked at my hand.

Red.

Blood.

It started dripping, and slowly increased its speed. I ran upstairs, taking two at a time. I was coughing hysterically now, I burst through the bathroom door, and started stripping down to my undergarments. After struggling, I finally got into the tub. I shrieked from the cold, but I didn't focus on the stinging sensation on my skin with the cold ice water. My focus was on my temple, which was bleeding more rapidly now. I tried my best to contain my scream. I didn't want to disturb my neighbours.

"Come on Mia... Deep breaths... Just count numbers... 1... 2... 3.... 4.... 5...." The pain somehow intesified, this was the the worst night of them all. Tears were rolling down my face from pain.

I did something I might regret later on...

I screamed.

~Corbyn's pov~

We heard a scream... A very familiar scream. A scream I've heard 5 years ago.

"GET TO HER NOW." Jonah ordered, being the first to get out of the car. He didn't have to tell us twice. We quickly sprung into action, getting out of the car, and running towards the house. We heard another scream, and it was much louder and more painful than the last. Now we were determined to get to the house.

"Find a way to get in." Daniel said through the mind-link.

"We'll have to break the window. The door's too durable to break. I tried."

"Guys, I found a window, at the back of the hoyse." I quickly mind-linked them.

"On three, we charge at the window, got it?" Jack instructed, letting us nod. Signalling him that we understood.

After he counted to three, we charged at the window, which successfully broke. We heard another painful scream, which turned to loud sobbing. We charged upstairs, towards the source of the sound. We opened every door, until one remained.

"She's in there!" Zach whisper-shouted, not wanting to be caught.

"I know she is idiot!" Jack whispered back.

We all broke down the door when we heard another scream. We couldn't let her stay there and suffer. When the door broke down, we gasped at the sight.

Mia's marking spot was covered in blood, the tub was slowly turning red. Her face was filled with pain. Tears streaming down her face. I snapped out of my shocked faze, and ran towards her. Wrapping my arms around her. Her eyes widened, but she couldn't see me properly with the tears in her eyes.

"It hurts!" She sobbed, gripping onto my arm like her life depended on it.

"I know, I know... I'm here now.." I shushed her, pulling her close to my chest. Ignoring that her blood was staining my shirt. It felt nice to know that I could help, even if it was so tiny. She wrapped her arms around my neck, she closed her eyes to contain the pain. Slowly, her breathing started to even out. I looked at her, and she was fast asleep from exhaustion. Her face was stained with dried tears, her cheeks were red, and the bleeding lessened. The boys were beside me, giving me a cloth to wipe her temple, to try to get as much blood as possible.

We stayed like that until the sun rose, and I picked her up from the called water. I carried her into bed, and tucked her in. We all kissed her forehead, then stared at her beauty. We thought about how strong she is, how much we missed her, our mistakes that led to this, and alot more. We eventually had to leave, since we didn't want to cause any ruckus. The boys went out of the room first, but I lingered there for a little while longer, knowing that if I leave, I will miss her presence.

"I'm so sorry. I promise that I'll get you back to us." I whispered, then leaving the room. Heading towards where the boys were.

"Wait.." Zach paused.

"What is it Zach?" Daniel asked him.

"What are we going to do about the window?"
