~Mia's pov~

We finally reached our final destination. Logan and I continued walking down the road until we saw the giant factory. It was fenced out and had many warning signs on not entering. Logan grabbed the pliers out from his pocket and started snipping the wires so that it was a big enough hole to fit the both of us.

After a couple of minutes, Logan threw the pliers to the side and used his hands to open the fence. He pushed it wide enough and he went through, holding out his hand for me to grab; which I gratefully took.

We were both pass the fence now, the sticks and leaves crunching underneath our feet. The big factory door was surprisingly opened. The iron chain broken in half and dangling on one of the handles. I examined the chain, seeing the padlock and rust growing on it. From what I can tell, this was a very old chain- and it was just broken recently.

My suspicion rose as we entered the building. The whole factory had boxes and containers of different sizes that was covered with a thick white cloth. Dust particles were everywhere including spider webs. I put my hand in front of me, waving away the cob-webs and holding a hand to my mouth; coughing into it.

"Logan, what are we here for?" I coughed out, seeing him walk in a certain path which made me think that he was here before I was.

"Let me do my thing first." He said to me, giving me a pointed look. "Don't move."

I gave him a short nod and stayed in my spot, looking around awkwardly. After he left my vision, I obviously wanted to explore so I walked around. I found it weird that the boxes were covered in cloth. My curiousity got the best of me as I put my hand on the dusty fabric.

"Should I do this?" I whispered to myself, contemplating on whether I wanted too or not.

'Do it.' A voice said in my head

"Curiousity killed the cat."

'But cats have nine lives.'

I felt like I was going crazy for being in this factory. I took a deep breath and made a silent prayer as I build the fabric down.

I let out a terrified scream as I saw the thing right in front of me. I scrambled back and fell to the floor, my back hitting another box. My eyes widened in fear as they looked up at me and our eyes locked.

~Jack's pov~

I laid in my bed, my arm on top of my forehead trying to get some sleep. I heard my phone buzz multiple times but I didn't care to pick it up.

Sleep was more important.

After what felt like the sixth ring, I groaned out- grabbing my phone from my bedside table and answering.

"Hello?" My sleepy voice asked.

"Jack, when are you coming back home?" My girlfriend said on the phone.

"Probably in a week Gabbie."

"What are you doing in the studio anyway?"

"Making music." I told her, which was partly true.

"Jack, don't lie to me. Your manager called me saying that you guys were slacking off." She grumbled.

"I'm sorry baby, but I've been really distracted lately." I rubbed a hand down my face.

"What's distracting you?"
