Part Seven: Couples

I guess I missed out on everything to do with a happy relationship. Not abusive. Not sharp. Not stupid. Just a happy relationship. I was lonely. I guess Leo was too. We got to open our eyes. It was cool. Nico was happy about it. He said he had been shipping us secretly. I just laughed. I'd dreamed about this since I was a kid. Now it was happening. I hoped I didn't screw up. Leo and I stayed together forever.

We went on double dates with Oak and Piper, Nico and Will, and Percy and Annabeth. His friends, friends. I was living the dream. We grew up. We stayed in camp though. Times had changed and everything was still dangerous. Leo and I had two kids. Bianca and Cayden.

"Why can't we go?" Bianca asked. I looked at Leo. He sighed. "It's scary out there." He said. He was very modest and kind about it. I liked the way he would put things. We sat at the beach, watching the sun set. It was a beautiful day, and a beautiful sun set.

I remembered meeting up with friends here. Everytime Leo would flirt with me, and I would brush it off was in the past. We were married and had twins. They ran around and played. Oak and Piper joined us. They didn't want to have kids, yet.

"Hey." Oak said, sitting by me, Piper sat next to her. "Hey Y'all!" I laughed. We started chatting as it got dark. All four of us were talking about olden days. It was so much fun. I was having a blast. I was glad things had happened the way things did. Everyone was happy and married. The perfect ending, Right? Wrong.

That's the way I wanted things to go. That's not how they went...
