When I wake up in the morning, I'm lying across Justin, my arms wrapped tightly around him. I smile and kiss his chest lightly, not moving. Justin pried his eyes open and smiled softly. "Good morning," he murmured, tracing his thumb across my cheek.
"Morning."
"Sleep okay?"
"Oh definitely."
He chuckled and kissed my forehead. "That's good."
I smile. "Yup." He pulled my chin forward and kissed me softly before rolling us onto our side. I smile and lean into him. He ran his fingers through his hair and kissed my forehead. "I don't want to get up." I whisper.
"Me neither," he said quietly.
"I'm going to miss this once we get up."
"Me too, a lot." He kissed my forehead and sighed. "Is your brother going to kill me?" I frown.
"Why would he?"
"Because you stayed here? Did he even know?"
"Oh, I don't think he knew, but Sam definitely knows." He nodded his head slowly.
"I don't want you, or me, in trouble. I'd hate to think what he'd do to me."
"We won't be in trouble." I smiled at him, hoping it would ease his worries. He smile softly and just pulls me closer. "Maybe we could spend most of the day in bed?" I asked him, resting my forehead against his chest.
"Now that is something that sounds amazing." I grinned and blinked in surprise when I realized he wasn't wearing a shirt. "What?" he murmurs.
"N-nothing," I said quickly.
"You stuttered."
"I did not," I denied, shaking my head.
"Ellie." he looks into my eyes. I held his gaze but I started to squirm slightly. "Ellie," he whispered, a small smirk crossing his lips. "Tell me."
"When did you take off your shirt?" He chuckled.
"I took it off just after you fell asleep."
"Oh." I nod and snuggle up to him more. Resting his chin against my head, he sighed. "I could get use to this."
"Me too." I murmur, kissing his chest.
"Don't do that," he said, then winced.
"Sorry." I frown up at him, confused.
He shook his head. "Sorry. You know, last night..."
I sit up. "What about it?" With a groan, he averted his gaze. "Come on, you can tell me."
"It's just.. don't you think we're moving a little fast? I asked you to be my girlfriend, technically, last night.."
Suddenly I feel really mad. "So you almost sleep with me when we're strangers and then when we're together I can't innocently kiss your chest lightly?"
He looked startled but sighed and looked out his window. "That's not that I mean, El. I never thought I'd see you again after that... God, you don't know how happy I was to see you again," he added the last part quietly, almost too low for me to hear.
"Then what do you mean?"
"It's just... last night, I thought it would have gone further, and... I don't know," he said, groaning. "Never mind, I don't even know."
"No, tell me, Just." He sighs. "Justin, I swear to God.... tell me."
He rubbed his thumb along my cheek and groaned. "Look, Ellie. I don't even know what I'm on about. I just thought we were moving fast last night, and I don't want that. I want us to go slowly, especially after how we met."
