I wake up and rub my eyes. I groaned and cleared my throat, hating that I had gotten worse over night. I get up and make my way downstairs to get medicine.
As soon as I hit the bottom step, I wobbled on my feet and grabbed the wall for support. "Ellie," Justin said quietly. I looked up at him before he picked me up bridal style and walked into the kitchen. "Medicine then back to bed."
I sigh. "I hate this."
"Just a few more days and you'll be better," he told me, getting the medicine down and placing it on my stomach before walking upstairs.
"Yeah." I nod. Once I was back in bed and the medicine was gone, I wanted nothing more than to lay with Justin, but I didn't want him to get sick. I sigh and grab my remote, turning the Tv on. I curled into a ball on my side and focused on the comedy chat show that I had no interest in.
After an hour I'm bored to death.
I rolled onto my stomach and screamed quietly into the pillow. "What was that?" I turned my head to look at Justin who was raising his eyebrow.
"Me screaming."
"Yes, but why?" he asked, chuckling.
"I'm bored." I tell him pouting.
He sat on the edge of my bed and rubbed the bottom of my leg. "It's just until you're better, okay?" I sigh, nodding. He shifted onto the back of my legs and pressed his fingers lightly against my back.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"Thought I'd give you a massage," he told me, shrugging. "You seem tense."
"You're sweet." I smile.
He kissed the back of my neck and I felt his grin. "I know."
"I hate that I got sick."
"At least you should be better a few days before I go," he murmured. "We'll get some good time. Maybe we shouldn't have gone out in this weather though."
"It was fun though."
He chuckled. "Yeah, it was fun. But I never did get to sleep in your bed."
I frown. "I know."
"I still have some time to do so," he said, pressing his fingers lightly against the top of my back before trailing down. I giggle. My eyes shut when he replaced his fingers with his lips, trailing them across my back lightly. I groan.
He smirked against my skin. "Something wrong?"
"No, not at all."
"Okay then." He continued to slowly trail kisses along my back and smirked when I shivered slightly. Its killing me that we can't do anything. He sighed and kissed my shoulder one last time before flopping down next to me. "I hate that we have to wait."
"Me too."
After a moment, he turned onto his side and smiled at me. "We'll survive. We aren't rabbits."
I laugh. "I just hate that you can't be close to me."
He linked our fingers and grinned. "I'll just have to breathe through my nose and pray I don't get sick."
"I don't want you sick."
"And I don't want you on your own," he murmured, pulling me closer.
"Well I guess you'll get sick then."
He smiled and shrugged. "If it happens, it happens." I cuddle up to him.
"I love you, Ellie."
"I love you, too," I murmured, kissing his chest. He rubs my back. I yawned and pressed myself closer to him before falling asleep.
