Newton Scamander, the Wizard with the billowing blue coat descended the boat to the dock. With the winter wind, his red hair was swept to the side as the whistle hid the slight knock originating from inside his brief case. He knew Dougal (his demiguise) was getting antsy along with that pestering Niffler. However, the jumping of his case wasn't avoided by all, the Customs officer couldn't ignore the lid's rattle as he asked if any livestock were carried in his luggage. At the question, Newt pressed his hand to his chest and denied the fact. Yet the lock just had to flick open in that instance, causing the officer to give him a cautious look before asking:
"Then you wouldn't mind me taking a look?".
"No, not at all" he agreed, flicking a lever under the circular key hole to reveal a tab reading: Muggle worthy.
From there, the case was twisted toward the officer and unlocked. Newt captured the care which haunted the man's actions as he slowly pulled open the lid to reveal... Any mundane item any Muggle traveler would pack. With the failed investigation, the case was closed before the officer moved Newt along with a forced, tight-lipped smile.

After being stuck talking to the annoying Miss Esposito, Genevieve tiredly climbed the stairs to her first cousin's apartment. And she had to say, she was surely out of shape, especially since it was only two floors up.
When Genevieve came up to the dark, wooden door, she quickly rapped against it for the entrance to be opened itself, without any human assistance.
Genevieve had already met Porpentina and Queenie Goldstein when they visited England back in July. Even if it was only once, Queenie enjoyed talking to the girl, especially because she couldn't predict what Genevieve was going to say. Over the year, Genevieve had greatly improved on her Occulemency without the help of her Aunt Vivienne. Tina on the other hand, couldn't grow to like her exactly like Queenie. How could she when Genevieve had a natural affinity for the Dark Arts, it wasn't like she was trying to hide it either. She knew this especially when she witnessed an eighteen year-old Genevieve curled up with books found in the Hogwarts restricted library or Borgin and Burkes.
"Genie!" Queenie exclaimed at the sight of the girl, her trunk hovering behind her while she entered.
Once Genevieve saw the older woman, her lips curled into a obvious smile right up until she tightly embraced her cousin.
"Five months has never felt so long!" Queenie continued, forcing a giggle from Genevieve's mouth while Tina entered the living room.
"Genevieve" she nodded in indifference as Genevieve stepped away.
"It's nice to see you too Tina-" she said sarcastically before turning back to Queenie ,
"- so, how have you been? A lot can happen in a few months".
"Well, I've perfected my strudel recipe and Tina got fired from MACUSA" Queenie said excitedly, causing her sister's head to whip around in shock.
"Oh really?" Genevieve asked, goading her cousin for more information.
"Yes, she exposed us to the No-majs... Speaking of MACUSA, did you get your wand permit?".
"Of course-" Genevieve smiled waving it in the air, "- it took a month but it's right here".
"Good, we wouldn't want you getting in trouble" Tina said with faint concern- like a mother as she pulled on her cloche and signature blue coat.
"And where are you going so soon, Genevieve just got here!" Queenie whined.
"Yeah, I just got here".
"I'm sorry, but I've got to go" Tina explained while giddy on her feet, her body itching to leave the apartment.
"You're not gonna check out those Second Salemers again, are you?".
Genevieve's expression suddenly dropped, her body tensing as her Occulemency -at last- lowered its walls.
In a wave, Queenie was fed memories and thoughts of a familiar boy. But, these weren't her memories, nor were they Tina's. In that instance, Queenie span on her heel toward Genevieve, about to say something before the front door slammed and Genevieve's Occulemency built her defences once again.
