Lele's POV

I waited at an empty table outside of the cafe for Juanpa to arrive. "Hey..." I realized I had dozed off into the sky and had lost the complete track of time. I focused in front of me, and there was Juanpa, wearing his special Stay Weird black tee and black jeans.

I stood and felt my face get hot. "Hey... I..." I gave him a hug, and slowly he warmed up to me and put his arms around my waist. "I'm so sorry about all of this," I said into his ear, still hugging him. I leaned back to look at him and smiled.

"Let's go in and we can start talking," he said and I nodded, still smiling. We headed in and both ordered salads, the specialty of the cafe, and grabbed a two-seated table right next to a window.

"What happened with Xander?" Juanpa began immediately. "He cheated on my with that Aspen girl," I replied, shrugging. "I guess it's no biggie." "Well I'm sorry about him." Juanpa said. Before I knew what was happening, his hand was on top of mine.

We looked into each other's eye cue cheesy teen song and I felt the warmth from him palm on mine. "Oh... thanks." I said, and blushed. Trying to hide it, I looked down and brushed a loose piece of hair from my messy bun behind my ear.

"What are you doing here?" A familiar voice hit my like a blade. Slowly, I turned my head and saw the cocky- looking jerk that we had been talking about. Xander glared at Juanpa not-so-secretively. "Having lunch... with him?" I gestured at Juanpa.

"Is there a problem?" He squinted at me. "Well yeah babe, you're dining with another guy, it bothers m-" Instinct made me stand up. The old chair squeaked as it slid back. "We are not dating." I stated.

"You're an a-hole, and I don't care what bothers you or not because you are the center of my problems right now. Leave us alone, please and thanks." I was going to sit back down when he left, but he didn't budge.

"What do you mean we're not dating?!" He yelled, and by now the whole cafe was staring. Juanpa stayed silent and I'm glad he did. "Don't act like nothing happened. I'm asking you to leave." I angrily whispered and took the chance to sit back down.

I directed my gaze to Juanpa and opened my mouth to say something, but he was gone in a flash due to Xander's crybaby temper. I unexpectedly watched Xander quickly grab Juanpa by the collar of his shirt and bring him up.

"You made her say that didn't you!" He yelled at him, and by this time, Juanpa was shocked. I stood and tried pushing Xander away, but he was stronger then me and it was useless. "I saw what you did to her at backstage and I know she would say something like that unless it's you related."

"No Xander!" I said, but he didn't look at me. "We're over!" I said quieter, becoming more aware of the people around us. I looked around and saw people gawking, jaws dropped, and cellphones out. Uh oh.

I grabbed Juanpa's hand and kicked Xander hard in the shin. It would have been satisfying to watch him bend over and grab his pain filled leg but I pulled Juanpa out of there quickly.
