Lele's POV

Xander and I escaped from Hannah and Twan's. We decided to get some fresh air at the local park because we had been inside most of the day. "Do you want to get lunch after the walk?" I suggested. It was already past noon, and my last meal was yesterday. "Sure."

We talked and laughed as we walked, and for another coincidence, Aspen was siting in the center of the park, lonely on a bench. It seemed like she was thinking. "Hey babe?" I had stopped, and Xander was a few steps ahead of me.

"The girl over there," I pointed to Aspen, who hadn't spotted us. "She's my friend. I'm gonna go talk to her." Xander nodded. "I guess I'll come with." We walked over it her, and before we reached her, she heard us and jolted. Stills allying, we watched her spring from the bench. She put her hands behind her back and went wide-eyed.

"Hey..." I said. She looked down and brushed some loose hair behind her ear. "I'm sorry for lying." She said. "He's actually my ex." Xander looked confused. "It's nothing," I told him and he shrugged. "Aspen, I wanted you to meet Xander." I presented him playfully with my hands, and she smiled.

She bit her lip and gave a small wave, and Xander just stared at her. I wanted to put my hands in my hips and kick him in the leg, saying 'Wake up!' but I didn't. "We met at Jimmy John's." I said to break the awkward silence. Xander shook himself and gave Aspen his hand to shake.

She took it and I swear I saw her blush. Something fishy was happening, but I decided to ignore it. "I just wanted to say hi." I said with a smile. "We have to go to lunch though! Nice seeing you!" I said and started pulling Xander away.

I heard her call and ask me where, but I pretended I didn't hear it. I felt bad for her when I was walking over to her, but something in my mind was telling me that she was trouble.

Xander was driving the car, and the ride to Papa John's was almost silent. Most of the time, I was looking out of the window and thinking about what just happened. I was actually feeling jealous about it. It was obvious that this girl had feelings for my boyfriend.

It was major disrespect to a relationship.
