Two misunderstood teens living in broken homes meet each other and find comfort in one another's company, but when their home life gets too much Cleo woods has and idea to run away with Dominic Harrison their whole lives turn upside down.
"My mom still isn't home yet, I figured that she would come back but she hasn't and bills are coming up and I barely have any food at home; she didn't leave me with anything you know it's just so fucking stressful"
Cleo said with her head on Dominic's shoulder; he kissed her on the forehead and said
"Everything thing is going to be fine I'm here for you I won't let anything happen"
She grabbed his face in one hand and kissed him like he was the only boy in the world
"Fuck this school lets go somewhere fun"
She said he smiled and they got up and left
They got on the bus headed downtown once they got there they just walked around then they went in an alley behind a restaurant to smoke a joint
Cleo then saw something square and black on the floor she picked it up and realized it was a wallet
"Who's is it"
Dom asked
"Ben Hannah and apparently he carries an insane amount of cash in his wallet"
Cleo said pulling out around $500 dollars
"He looks like a rich douche bag, so I guess he wouldn't need this"
She said fanning herself with the money and laughing
"Cleo you're such a bad influence"
Dom said laughing with her
"Well that's my middle name sweetheart"
She said pulling him closer; he then wraps his arms around her waist and kisses her then he moved from her lips to her neck
"Oh don't get ahead of yourself we must save that for later"
She said with a devilish look on her face; then she grabbed his hand and started to run back out
"Thanks Ben!"
She shouted as those words echo through the alley
They went into many stores and bough clothes and accessories and chains and cigarettes
Their last stop was a cafe called 'Lovers express café'
They got some hot chocolate and Cleo got a doughnut
"Mhm this doughnut is so fucking good"
Cleo said
"This was really what I needed but we can't forget to give credits to Ben for such a lovely gift"
She said Dom laughed at her
"You're crazy"
"And you good sir loves a crazy woman"
She said he smiled
"I really do"
He said then he took a sip of his hot chocolate
"Mhm! Pose this is a perfect picture moment"
She says then she takes out her camera from her bag and takes a picture of Dom

She said looking down at the picture on her camera
"Cleo can I ask you something"
Dominic said in a less happy tone which worried Cleo
"Yeah what's up?"
She said a little bit nervously
"That day when you were over you when we first, you know, you were sleeping and I got up to use the washroom and your arm flopped on the bed and your wrist was-"
"I know"
She said looking down at her cup
"Why do you do it"
"Well why do you cry?"
She asked
"Well the only time I cry is when I'm really sad"
"Exactly"
"But why not cry instead of cut?"
"Because I can't"
"Can't what?"
"I can't cry Dominic, I just can't fucking do it and every time my mom hits me and every time someone fucks me over I feel the tears I feel them just climbing up to my eyes and then they... then they disappear"
"Why didn't you tell someone"
"Because they last time I told someone they called me and attention whore"
"Do you still cut?"
"Yes, that's the only way I feel something the only way I feel pain"
She said then she got up and grabbed her stuff
"We should go"
She said then Dominic grabbed his stuff and they both left to catch a bus back home
On the bus Cleo did talk what so ever she just sat there and stared out the window with one hand on her lap and one supporting her head
Dominic looked at her and how hurt she feel it's like her body was just radiating with this negative energy and he could feel it
So he took her hand and intertwined his fingers in hers and waited for her to respond
She didn't at first so he loosened his grip and was about to pull back but then she squeezed his hand
Then she turned towards him and laid her head on his shoulder
