she made herself look so beautiful although she could never believe that she had true beauty

she stood in front of the mirror and laughed she laughed until she believed she was truly laughing

"are you just going to stand there and look pretty or are we going to eat i'm starving love"

Dom said standing by the bedroom door he was wearing black jeans with a chain hanging from the side and a beautiful smile

she loved him so much so much that this whole situation pained her

they pulled into they're favourite burger place "Galaxy Burgers" Cleo got her favourite cheese burger with bacon and fries with a strawberry milkshake and Dom decided to get the same

"are you feeling better baby because i know you haven't been a big fan of eating lately"

she gave him a noticeably weak smile and forced some fries down her throat

"i love you so much Dominic, you know that right?"

"of course i do love, and i love you just as much, maybe even more"

she started to get used to eating the fries so she ate it one by one so she can avoid getting to the burger

and then she finished the fries and she sat there staring at the burger

"baby?"

"yeah"

she said quickly snapping out of it

"you said there was a reason that we're here, what's going on"

"i uh- i ha- i um i can't do this"

she started panicking and she got up and left

Dom got in the car and drove next to her

"Cleo where are you going? please get back in the car we can talk about this"

"leave me alone Dom you're better off without me"

"no i'm not your the love of my life how am i better of with out you"

she started walking towards a bridge Dom quickly pulled over and ran out she was already trying to climb it

she slipped

but he caught her and pulled her back to the road as fast as he could and she started sobbing

"why would you stop me!"

she screamed at him

"why would you try to kill yourself baby what's going on please just tell me"

he said crying and shaking

"they told me to stop eating, they told me to jump you think i want this! do you?!"

"who's they who told you that i'll fucking kill whoever said that to you"

Cleo started laughing

"you'll kill the voices?"

"the voices wait wh- what do you mean the voices"

"i'm going insane Dom, i'm sick i recently got diagnosed with schizophrenia when I went to see my mom I told her that I was but I was hearing things and she called one of her psychiatric doctor friends and he told me there's a high chance i'm schizo then i went to see him again and he confirmed it, i'm sorry"

she said slowly standing up and dusting herself off

"sorry why are you sorry we'll get through this together"

"no we won't i don't want you taking care of me my whole life Dominic! i don't want you worrying if the voices in my head told me to do something bad to myself or someone else, i want you to be happy"

"and i'm happy with you-"

"the old me. This person who's standing in front of you, you have no idea who she is and sadly i don't either"

"but this person still loves me doesn't she"

Cleo looks at him with tears falling down her soft rosy cheeks and he pulled her in for a hug

"come on let's get you home"

he said as he walked her back to the car.
