CH. 17 I've been kissed!
(Anthony POV)
I can't believe that just happened. Part of me wanted to rush out of the bedroom and give my mother a huge hug because of her slick behavior with the mistletoe. Aimee kissed me; I was really over the moon.
Who knew that my mother's slyness would lead to my first kiss happening.
Yes, it was my first kiss, and yes, I was most likely bad at it, but I was kissed by someone I have feelings for.
The fact that Aimee kissed me had me in awe.
'You love her' My Grandmother Trudy's words echoed in my head.
Yeah. Grandmother Trudy was right.
I was currently on the floor, sleeping on a couple of blankets I found in the closet. I did have a blanket over my body, but of course, I still felt cold for some reason.
Being outside and out on the cold during the ride here finally got to me.
Sleeping on the floor was also not comfortable at all whatsoever.
I repositioned my body to the side, trying to find a position to help me sleep better. I was failing miserably. Why was it so cold sleeping on the floor?
"Anthony." Aimee's voice ringed out. I should have figured she wouldn't be able to fall asleep with all the noise I was making on the floor.
"Yes," I said, moving my body to look at the bed where she was sleeping.
I found her already staring at me, and we just ended up staring at each other for a couple of minutes.
I was going to question why she called my name out until I just decided not to and continued staring at her.
By the look on her face, it looks like she was trying to decide on something.
It was like she was thinking something over and over again in her head.
"If you'll be a good boy, you can sleep on the bed with me." She said, causing my eyes to widen.
There she goes calling me a good boy again.
"Really? What do you mean by being a good boy?" I asked, watching as she rolled her eyes.
I held back my smirk. Aimee was calling me a good boy more, and I wanted to know why.
"As in if you promise not to do any funny business. I'll let you sleep next to me on the bed. You look like you're freezing your butt down there, and I can imagine it's hard to sleep on wooden floors." She said to me. I nodded my head, getting up and grabbing the blankets on the floor.
It was hard sleeping on wooden floors. Also, sleeping next to Aimee would feel amazing; I would not give her time to change her mind.
I quickly walked towards the empty side of the bed and dropped myself on it, letting out a groan at how much comfortable the bed was to the floor.
"Thank you. The bed is so much better." I said.
I made myself comfortable on the bed, not saying anything else and staying silent.
I was nervous, I mean. I knew I wouldn't do anything to Aimee or make a move; just sleeping next to her had me worried. Completely.
"Your family is nice." She said. I turned my body around to face her, finding her staring at me and already facing me.
I nodded.
"Yeah, each of them is a handful. Wait till you meet my nieces and nephews tomorrow; you'll like them too. They're a bunch of funny kids also; sometimes I question their ages, though." I said, getting a small laugh out of her.
