Luke’s P.O.V.

I watched as Persephone argued over the whole hospital issue, not that Persie was wrong about being mad at him. He had to explain himself at great lengths, but my greatest problem was to explain Electra the thing that had happened earlier that day, but I wasn’t strong enough or ready. It was a difficult thing to explain your girlfriend when she had temporary loss of memory.

I felt Calum, Persephone, Leah, Ashton and Michael downstairs to explain the situation, as I sneaked in Electra’s room, to find her awake. She was sitting with her back on the headboard and her legs curled up to her chest, her arms wrapped in the front of her knees. She stared at me with a tired and gazing look, as I approached the bed and sat next to her. I wanted to take her hand in mine, but I didn’t want to make any move that would scare her or make her think she would harm me.

“How are you feeling?” I asked, trying to keep my voice as low as could. She was still dizzy from before. Her hair was in a long ponytail and she shook her head to signalize that she was not good.

“Is this a rhetorical question or do I actually have to answer?” She chuckled, more ironically.

“I wanted to make sure you’re okay, don’t get mad at me.” I poked her shoulder with my own, trying to comfort her.

“I’m sorry, I’m just really emotionally unstable at the moment.” She smiled, probably charmed by my poke.

“I know, it was a lot for today, but it should had happened. It was for the best.” I explained, gripping her hand. She looked at our hands scared and I smiled at her, courageously.

“What did happen at the sea?” She asked, painful of the memory. I raised my hand up to the upper hem of her shirt, at her back, and slightly tugged it down, showing her her wing tattoo.

“See these wings?” I glanced at her and receive a gentle nod from her. “They are white, as angelic wings. You know that angels have white wings, right?” I made sure that she was aware, trying to explain her in a more calm way that she was one.

“As Calum had the black feather?” She questioned, and I was glad she cooperated that well.

“Yes, exactly.” I smiled brightly, proud of her. “Calum is a demon, so he has black wings, as well as Ash and Michael. Well, Michael doesn’t really have a tattoo with any wings, but he got the sun and Ashton has devil corns at the sides of his indexes, but they are not clear to see.” I understood that I was rumbling and that I had to get to the point. “So, you, as an angel, have white wings. And, remember when the boys were talking about choosing powers from purgatory? You were the one to choose water control. Goddess of sea, kinda like.” I joked, trying to cheer her up.

“And how do you know all that stuff?” She untied her hair, letting the dark red color shine at the dim light next to the bed.

“Before the accident you had and ended up to the hospital, we…um…we were together. Like, together together, as a couple, you know.” I laughed, as I made my awkwardness obvious and she laughed too with me. I so loved her laugh, and now she knew, I could show her anytime.

“For how long?” She asked after a few seconds of laughter, which was followed by her thinking.

“Not gonna lie, it was a long time, I don’t remember, call me a useless boyfriend who doesn’t remember our anniversary.” I admitted in a serious way, but she laughed again, and I felt my stomach boiling from love.

“I’m quite sure you were a great boyfriend.” She exclaimed, making me sigh in relief, imitating that I wipe away the sweat on my forehead, as they do in movies and she laughed again. I was not making her laugh on purpose, but it wasn’t bothering me at all. Her laugh gave me life.
