"Marvin...I have something to ask you..." Whizzer said nervously. It was now December, and one of his favorite times of year. Growing up half-jewish, he celebrated both Christmas and Hanukkah. But it had been a while since he celebrated either one.
Marvin grew worried at his lover's tone, thinking something bad was happening, but Whizzer quickly dispelled those thoughts by donning a soft smile. "I know you don't really celebrate christmas..." He said quickly. "And we definitely don't have to, but I was wondering if we could get a tree... and maybe decorate a little bit.
"I've always loved christmas time as a kid, and I just thought it was something you and I could do. Obviously it's fine if you don't want to, I probably shouldn't have asked, but I thought this was worth a try, you know?" Whizzer was baring his heart and soul here, something he rarely did, and he just hoped Marvin wouldn't get mad at him.
Marvin smiled at the younger man's sheepishness, and took a step closer. "Of course we can, you don't have to be worried. We can pick out a tree tomorrow, after Jason gets here." Marvin said, embracing Whizzer.
---------------Time skip because I just wanna write the good part----------------
The next day, the three got in the car, and drove to the christmas tree farm to pick one out. Whizzer was grinning, and Jason cheered in the backseat, having never experienced anything like this. "Can we pick out the biggest one? Can we please?" He shouted excitedly.
The two men in front laughed at their son's antics. "We'll see when we get there, ok?" Whizzer said, turning around to ruffle Jason's hair.
Before long, they all arrived at their destination. Jason raced ahead to go look around, and Marvin yelled at him to not go too far.
"Oh let him be a kid," Whizzer said, before spotting something and promptly racing off as well. He stopped just short of a semi-tall, beautiful white fir tree. His eyes lit up, and he jumped up and down excitedly. "Marv can we get this one?"
It might be the slightest bit cheesy, but Marvin fell in love all over again (see only slightly cheesy). Seeing Whizzer so happy made him happy, and he'd do anything to keep that smile on his lover's face. "Of course we can get that one. You go find Jason, and I'll get the tree."
The two carried out their duties, and were on the road less than an hour later. "Dad, are we going to decorate the tree?" Jason asked. All he received was an enthusiastic thumbs up from Whizzer, but that was as good an answer as any. The two practically vibrated with excitement the whole way home.
Finally, after what seemed like hours (but was probably only like 45 minutes), they made it home. The tree was unloaded from the car and set up in the living room. Whizzer brought down a box of decoration he'd saved from when he was a child. The three boys took their time decorating the beautiful tree, and making sure everything looked perfect.
Everything was lovely. The multicolored lights twinkled and added a pop of color to the otherwise drab room. Delicate glass ornaments were hung from individual branches with care. Jokes were told, and ecstatic laughs rang out, filling the house with a coziness none of them had really felt before.
Jason seemed to be having the time of his life, and Marvin didn't seem as stressed for once. Whizzer looked around at his family. He actually had a family, one that he loves, that loves him. Everyone was enjoying themselves, and though they don't really celebrate this holiday, Whizzer was glad they had agreed to set up a tree. And really, isn't that what this holiday is about?
Spending time with family and friends. All around enjoying yourself. Loving and feeling loved. It's not about the gifts, the beautifully wrapped packages set under the tree. It's about the cheer, the warm, happy feeling that only comes at this time of year. Whizzer wrapped his arm around Marvin's waist, grinning. 'This is the best time of year,' he couldn't help but think. And all was merry and bright.

I know that the boys are all Jewish, but I really wanted to write a Christmas chapter, so I took advantage of the fact that Whizzer is Half-Jewish. So here's a cute, fluffy oneshot with Jason in it. Jason is a little ooc, so just imagine him being around 8 or 9 years old instead of 12.
Also, this might be the last chapter I post for a little while. I got finals the rest of this week, so that's not going to leave me with a lot of time to write. I will say that I do have a couple oneshots in the works, so I should have more posted sometime after Christmas.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah or just Happy Holidays in general,
