It's been two days now and I've been lying to mother because I don't want to go to school, actually I don't want to bump into Elsa Williams, especially after what my dearest best friend dared me to do!

I know school comes first if I want to be one of the nominated learners participating in the Mathematics Olympiad. But I just don't want to see her again, I have not recovered from the embarrassment my beloved best friend put me in.

Today I was suppose to inscribe my Maths test and Mrs.Chorian has been preaching about this test for the entire week, but with all the stress compiling, my head had Had enough, I swear to God I would have gone crazy with the whole school drama if I had gone to school this week, thus I decided to stay home and lie to mom about my absence from school.

Mom wasn't home when I woke up this morning, she told me she'd visit the pharmacy to buy Naproxen for my menstruation cycle, that was the only thing I could lie about, I had no other excuse to think of... I mean she knows how miserable these things can make you feel, so she wouldn't allow me to go to school in this condition.

... My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door,I rushed downstairs to check who was banging the door, for some reason I thought it was the police.

As I unlocked and pushed down the door handle with anticipation I couldn't help but stare this figure from toe to head only to find my eyes trapped in to her beautiful green eyes, the tight dress she wore complimented her sexy body, you could tell she was working out...Shit! I doubt my body looked this good.. I thought to myself...

She cleared her throat

"Oh sorry ,Hi ?"I said ,it came out more like a question than a statement....why am I this rude?

"Hey" she paused "I came here to check up on you, Maddie sent me here,she thought it would be wise to have someone check up on you and talk about what happened" she started bitting her nails.

This habit of her's is starting to annoy me

"Oh... " that's all I could say

"Yeah...may I please come in" she said with a big smile showing off her white teeth

I opened the door wide enough for her to enter, we went to the dinning room, then she sat next to me.

"Ohk so you guys were having a discussion about me with my best friend at school?"

" Uhm no ...but yeah ...ugh she just told me you were afraid to face me after what she dared you to do"

I nodded,I really did not know what to say, maybe Maddie knew deep down that what she did was wrong. Right?

"Listen Chantel"she held my hands "I have no problem about what happened that day ,I get it alright... It was just a game and friends suck when they dare you to do such"

Silence struck the room after what she said.

"Do you think I'm lesbian?" I asked, like I said I don't have anything against lesbian,I just don't want her to get the wrong impression.
