Chapter Twelve12

"Hahahahaha" Maddie laughed her ass out "You could have seen... everyone's faces" she was unable to talk properly as she was trying to catch her breath "girl you are bad!!!".

"Just shut up man, I've had enough wth you embarrassing me infront of my schoolmates' " I said while rolling my eyes ,I am annoyed at my bestfriend ,she keeps on embarrassing me in front of my peers as if it's something normal to do.

Firstly it all started with her embarrassing me in front of Elsa, then she decided to be a bad a friend and humiliate me in front of everyone in school, and now this, she knows that I'm struggling with physics and how much I did not understand the activity Mr.Lewis gave us, I mean you could have seen everyone's face the moment I went to the front and attempted doing the activity , it was priceless !

It was lunch time and I couldn't wait to dig up on my food. On our way to the cafereria ,everyone was staring at Maddie and I as if we are people from the other world, the world that doesn't even exist, a lot of girls and boys were whispering nasty words which I surprisingly heard, most of them were saying how stupid I am to easily forgive Maddie after what she said to me, oh well I don't blame them, I was suppose to be mad for as long as I can ,I mean what she did was horrible , but I couldn't, she Is the only person I've got in this school.

We ignored everyones stares and rude comments as we made our way to the cafeteria, we were silent the whole time and I guess she also heard what they were saying. We fetched our food and searched for an empty table.

We ate in silence until she said" Look Chantel ,I'm sorry ,I really am ,and I did not mean anything that I said about Michael ,I was just upset and I wanted to come up with words that will deeply hurt you and I knew bringing him will ,and I'm truly sorry for that ,I do understand if you don't forgive me, I don't want you to feel pity for me " she faced down, making her straight black hair to cascade down ,she then muttered to herself and said " I'm a bad person" , I bet her eyes were filled with tears.

"It's okay Maddie ,I understand ,lets forget about it and move on with life, I already have a compicated life and I wouldn't want to make our friendship complicated ,trust me I forgive you" she faced me and I smiled, assuring her that I do really forgive her.

"ohk lets forget about this, now tell me about your crush" I said. Maddie is indeed obsessed with this guy , she keeps on posting love quotes on social media, she has never done than before but because of this guy she does it almost everyday, I mean you know that someone is in love when they post such . right?

"GIRL!!!" she said excitedly "I cant talk about him now ,Im afraid that he will hear me ,his sitting behind you"

curiously as I am, I turned my head so I could see this mysterious prince charming of Maddie ,but unfortunately, I couldn't spot him, there were a group of boys sitting behind me ,so I thought of the perfect thing to do.

"Mhhhh" I smirked " I dare you to go and kiss that guy of yours on the cheek ,then run to the bathroom immediately "

" WHAT!, I wouldn't do that "

"oh, you are going to do it, whether you like it or not, remember not to break the rules of the game"

"but Chantel I haven't said any word to him and it is going to be awkward!" she pleaded.

"Time is not on our side, just do it man ,don't even think about it " I gave her one of my mischievous smiles.

"ohk, its not like I have any other choice" she started standing up ,she took a few breath's before she started making her way to her crush, I turned my body so I could face her direction, she walked slowly as possible until she stopped and bowed so that she can be able to kiss him, once she kissed him on the cheek I couldn't believe who it was, out off all people in the wold ,why would Maddie have a crush on David, DAVID!!! come on Maddie ,you beautiful ,sexy and intellingent to even think of David, a philanderer to be your potential boyfriend , COME ON NOW!!! I mentally slapped my face .

What I don't understand Is how come does someone who is untidy, unintelligent and ugly attract Maddie , I mean she is head over hills for him, he doesn't even try to be handsome!

After she was done ,she ran outside the cafeteria ,probably going to the bathroom, I guess she is doing exactly what I told her to do. I forgot to mention that he is also childish , I mean he was bragging about the kiss he just received from Maddie . Can somebody please tell me what my bestfriend see's in him.

I went outside the cafeteria to go and check for Maddie in the bathroom, on my way there, someone who was running bumped into me and I fell ,as I was about to stand up my eyes met his hazel eyes that I once fell in love with, he did not offer to help me get up like everyone who needs to do it after bumping into someone else but I truly understand, I mean I've once hurt him. I then picked myself up, when I was done he called out my name and said "Chantel" his voice was low and deep just the way I've always loved it, I used to be obsessed with it, it was like an angel's voice whispering into my ear whenever I was facing problems, its something I always wanted to hear just before I go to sleep and after I wake up .

"Spencer" I said softly as I can, staring at his hazel eyes.

We stared into each others souls, silently so until he said "So I'm back"

Spencer is my ex, we dated when we were very young, we were ten years old and I decided to break up with him at the age of fifteen, I don't know how that makes you feel but I believe that when love attacks ,it attacks everyone regardless of their age.

"I I sorry" I said and ran to the bathroom ,I couldn't stand watching him, I broke him and it was clear in his eyes .

When I was in the bathroom I did not spot Maddie and I had no idea where she was so I decided to go to my next class.

I was now laying on top of my bad, todays day was long indeed and I was tired ,all I wanted to do was sleep.
