When I first met you, I honestly didn't know you were going to be this important to me.

A silent car ride later, we pulled into the school parking lot and quickly hopped out the truck. We gave each other a sheepish look and made our way inside the school.

We walked side by side into the front office, where our counselor sat. She looked up at us through her slanted glasses.

"And why are the both of you coming into school so late?" She asked us, pushing the bridge of her glasses up with her index finger.

Before we could speak she held one of her long fingers up,tilted her head, and a smile placed on her lips.

"I'll let you have this one, but only once since I'm feeling good today. Hurry and sign in, and get to class. Second period should just now be ending." She spoke with a hint of amusement in her voice, as she clasped her hands together.

"Thank you, Mrs. Jenson. That made my day a little better already." I confess and feel relieved that we didn't get a detention. I grabbed the pen attached to the clipboard and signed my name in, and handed the pen over to Luke.

I waited for him to finished signing in, then Mrs. Jenson stood up and gave me a hug.

"Have a good day, sweetheart. You too Mr. Hemmings." She says then takes her seat again. I hide my smile and grab Luke's wrist, pulling him towards the door.

"You have a wonderful day Mrs. Jenson, Bye." Luke said giving her one of his 'charming' smiles and we walked out, making our way to second period. We share this class together, and I'm glad for that, so I don't have to walk into the classroom alone.

I knocked on the classroom door and waited patiently for someone to open it. The teacher opened it and stepped aside eyeing us both.

Everyone's attention made their way to the both of us, as we walked in. The room remained silent as the students stared at us questioningly.

"Ms. Wilson and Mr. Hemmings, You're both late, care to explain?" Mr. Harold pointed out absentmindedly, while he took off his glasses to clean them.

"We woke up late." Luke stated simply and that's when the room wasn't so quite anymore as it erupted in whispers. He made it sound like we spent the night together.

"Please bring a note next time you are late to my class, is that understood? now go and have a seat." Mr. Harold motioned out for us to take out seats.

I ignored the stares from my peers as I passed them, making my way to the back of the room, where I usually sit, so no one could mess with me. Luke took a seat beside me and leaned back cracking his knuckles.

After about 5 minutes of the room rumbling with different voices, the bell rung, signaling class has already ended. I hope today will be an easy, fast day for me, I want to just go home and sleep. Accurate.

I stood up and stretched out, since I forgot to this morning, then I hurried and gathered my stuff together, but got stopped as a group of girls came up to me. Not now, I just wanna get out of here. I mentally and physically rolled my eyes at them.

I looked over at Luke for any type of luck that he'll get me out of this, but he was already looking at me, so I looked at the girls again. Just as one of them cleared their throat, to get my unwanted attention.

"So...You and Luke?" The red head tilted her head a bit with an ugly smirk on her face, as if she could get her way with that look. All I could pay attention to was her makeup. Girl's need to chill out with their makeup, she looks like a distrained clown.

"Nah, We are just friends, why what's up?" I nod my head at her, tilting my head a bit and I see Luke flinch a bit in the corner of my eye.

"That's good to hear then, So you wouldn't mind if I get with him?" She batted her eyelashes as she smiled at Luke. That's disgusting, she will not get with him.

"You can't get with him, His type isn't wild mongooses, so you better get you and your flock out my way." I fake smiled at her and pushed past her little pack of dogs.

The girl made a disgusted sound at me, but I just turned my head and looked at her with my mouth slightly opened and I mouthed 'I'm gonna fuck you up.'

"I'm just going to go." I heard Luke say awkwardly as he eyed us confusingly, then he grabbed my arm and pulled me out the room with him.

Right now is our tutorial break, so we make our way into the cafeteria, finding our usual spot, but with some of Luke's friends today. I sat beside Luke and smiled at the 3 boys, who were giving me different types of looks.

"Guys this is Jordan, Jordan this is Calum, Ashton, and Micheal." Luke says pointing to each one as he said each of their names.

"Hey" I say with a smile and wave at them alittle awkwardly, I'm not really good at meeting with new people.

I could feel their eyes roaming my body and face up and down, as they observed me, intensely, silently in their own thoughts.

"Snack." Ashton said with a smirk, admiring me as the others nodded in agreement. I couldn't help but be confused, what is that supposed to mean.

"Yea, anyways Jordan, don't leave me with them again." He growled at me, as we sat down, totally taking my attention of the boys and back on earliers accurants.

"You mean about the girls?" I bit my lip to try not to laugh at him, I could honestly care less about those girls, but I showed him some interest.

"Yes." he said letting out a breath, rolling his eyes while doing so.

"Hey guys?" Calum said snapping his fingers to get our attention before we could continue on our own conversation.

We both brought out gaze over to him and look at him, waiting to see what he needed.

"Why were you late?" Micheal spoke up to Luke, asking him while slightly tilting his head to the side.

"Well I went to her house this morning to pick her up, since she is always late in the mornings. Then she tried to kill us, causing us to our undesired death." Luke says and over exaggerates by tons as he falls dramatically back.

They only erupted in laughter at how idiotic he was being, and they smiled lonesomely at me to show I also have their attention.

"You're such an idiot sometimes." Ashton laughed out."So you down to hang after school? You could come too, if you would want Jordan." he nodded his head in my direction, acknowledging my presence.

I waited for Luke to answer and he nodded, so I did as well. They smiled and carried on with other topics, saying whatever was on their minds for the rest of the lunch period.

We threw away our trash and bid our goodbyes, then separated ways to our next period. The last thing on my mind was, 3:25 where are you at?
