Do not allow someone to make you feel like you're not good enough.

-Jordan's p.o.v-

I opened my eyes slowly and there was a small pain in my chest, but I ignored it, instead I let out a groan, then hear another groan beside me.

I look over and see Ashton asleep with his arm wrapped around my waist securely.

When did I get here? The last thing I remembered was being at some waterfall, but not here.

I slowly removed his arm off of me and rest it in my place as I walk around the bed to spot the rose Ashton picked go me. I smiled and picked it up, walking over to his door, unlocking it.

I gave Ashton a quick glance to see him still fast asleep, so I walked out his room, slowly closing the door behind me.

I walked down the hallway and before I could turn the corner I bump into a tall man, Ashton's dad.

"Oh, hello." Mr. Irwin said smiling with a nod, eyeing me suspiciously, I can't remember if we ever met before.

"Hello Mr. Irwin" I say and attempt to fix my hair some. So I redo my ponytail.

"May I ask what are you doing here?" He asked nicely, trying his best to figure out who I may be.

"Oh, Ashton invited me over to talk and we watched a couple movies together and I must of fallen asleep, I live just down the road." I let out smoothly, licking my teeth, I need to brush them.

"Oh, wanna stay for breakfast?" He offered, It seemed like he was just trying to be nice, and he turned to his head to greet his wife as she walked in with just a robe around her.

"Sure." I accept and I followed the both of them into their kitchen, I greeted Mrs. Irwin and she greeted me back.

I took a seat in a Spinny stool and began to spin around in it.

"Where'd you get that pretty rose from? " Mrs. Irwin says pouring some fresh coffee in her coffee mug.

I looked down at the rose down in my hand and smiled at it, twisting it a bit with my fingers.

"Ashton got it for me." I say and let out a yawn, apologizing after, which the ignored.

Looking up, I see them both exchange smiles before tending to their own business. What?

"Are you and Ashton together?" The dad asked me, while cracking some eggs in a pan.

"Oh, no we are just friends." I say setting the rose down on the counter in front of me, and watched their actions.

"do you like him?" The mom asked while adding sugar and creamer into her coffee, very different from my moms, I bet hers tasted a lot better.

"Just as a friend." I bite my lip, looking back down at the rose, running my finger on the split part.

They laugh quietly at my response and I couldn't figure out what was so funny. Ashton finally strolled into the kitchen, stretching while doing so and he was shirtless this time.

"Morning sleepy head." Mrs. Irwin greets with a smile while leaning against the counter tacking small sips of her coffee.

"Morning." he mumble the response and looked in the fridge.

"I'm cooking breakfast, son." Mr. Irwin said and he closed the fridge to where he can't look through it anymore.

He hums out in response and finally acknowledged me, smiling and giving me a side hug, and I hug back.

Ashton's mom looks at me and gives me a knowing look before smiling at me, I just smile back at her.

"I have to go before my mom gets worried about where I am." I say standing up and grabbing the rose and my phone, honestly she wouldn't mind if I just texted her but his parents seemed to think we had a thing going on.

"Alright, bye sweetie." his mom says winking at me and then his dad just says bye to me.

Ashton came over and gave me a quick kiss on the forehead telling me a goodbye, causing his parents to give each other that look again.

"Bye Ashton." I then dismiss myself and walk out the front door, closing it behind me carefully. I squinted my eyes at the bright light from outside tucked my hands in my hoodie pocket as I walked down the road to my house.

I couldn't help my thoughts from thinking about Luke and I kissing. I licked my lips and thought about if I should tell anyone about it or not.

I started thinking about Sara and Avery, they seem like pretty nice girls, today's Saturday so maybe I should get to know them better. I only got Sara's number, so I pulled out my phone and shielded the sun from it so I could see the screen.

I clicked on her contact and dialed her number, putting my phone up to my ear, my phones about to die, so I have to hurry.

"Hello?"

"Hey Sara, it's Jordan."

"Oh hey, what's up?"

"Nothing much, just getting home, is Avery with you?" I ask as I walk up the steps and grab my house key, unlocking the front door and stepping inside, locking it back.

Its quiet, and I looked out the window to see my moms car wasn't in the driveway, where was she?

"Yes, why?"

"Do you and her wanna hang out somewhere today?"I ask taking my slippers off, leaving them next to my other pair of shoes I left down here.

"Yes girls night or morning....doesn't matter, haha yes sure, where do you live?"

I ended up giving her the address and then we hung up afterwards, I was gonna go in the kitchen but stopped in front of her door to find a note taped on it.

I read it silently to myself:

Dear Joey Bear,
If you're reading this, you must be awake, I left with a few new friends from !y job and I didn't want to bother waking you up. There's breakfast in the fridge, love you a lot. ~ mom.

I smiled at the note and decided to get changed before eating, I ran up stairs and looked through my closet and found a sleeveless tan jumpsuit shirt, and a pair of white shorts. I put on socks and some white and tan j's.

I wet my hair a bit in my shower so I could have those natural curls, and then put all my hair in the back, pushing it behind my ears. I applied on a little mascara and then brushed my teeth and took two pills before applying on clear lip gloss.

Walking downstairs, I walked into the kitchen and looked inside the fridge to find a plate of biscuits, bacon and eggs. I got it out and heated it up.

As I was eating it, I got a text from Sara saying they were outside. So I finished eating and put the leftovers in the fridge.
