"Two things you will never have to chase: True friends and True love."

                                                                  ------------------------------------

"Surprise!" they yelled out loudly, raising their hands to make more of an effect on my reaction, I look around and there was a string of pictures hanging around the light of the kitchen, looking closer they were pictures that looked recent, it was of me and the boys, which it had to be from this morning.

So that's why I heard noises and felt arms going around me. I smiled at the pictures and looked down to see a tall stack of pancakes with frosted writing on the top, that said 'Just Keep Swimming.' a quote from finding nemo. Beside the pancakes was an open box of pepperoni pizza, that was never delivered yesterday afternoon.

I could see my vision getting blurry, so I blinked a few times, this was little, but perfect. I walked up to my mom and wrapped my arms around her, holding her tightly. She hugged me back and I closed my eyes, enjoying the warmth, and more arms engulfed us.

"Thank you...all of you." I say as we separated, and they smiled warmly at me.

"Michael helped make the pancakes, which are for breakfast, and the pizza Ashton bought is for your guys lunch. You can stay home for a few days, if you'd like." My mom offered, and I just shook my head, politely declining.

"I can handle going to school, It'll be normal as any other day." I say giving a small smile before taking a seat and grabbing a pancake, munching away.

"These are a lot of pancakes." I comment staring at the many left behind on the plate. They chuckle before grabbing their own plates, taking two to three pancakes each.

We all ate in a comfortable silence, eating our pancakes and I watch them all quietly, seeing as they all eat their food differently, some smacking, some loud, some quiet. There was this sudden feeling of distress in my chest but I ignored it.

I pulled my phone from my pocket, and secretly took a picture of everyone in front of me, I look at it, smiling, then I put it back in my pocket. I stood up and put my plate in the sink, then took a deep breath before turning around with a big fake smile on my face.

"Alright, I'm ready to go to school now." I breathe out as they finished up their pancakes, looking at me questioningly.

The boys look around at each other before nodding, standing up.

"I'll bring you guys to school, go pack up in the car, ill be there in a minute." she instructed and they obeyed her orders and I stayed behind, leaning against the counter.

"Are you sure you want to go today? you can lay in bed and I can take care of you." My mom says again and I put a hand on her shoulder.

"I'll be fine mom, I made new friends yesterday so they can keep an eye on me, just like Luke has been doing." I reassure her, and she grabs my hand, bringing it up to place a small kiss on it. She takes a shaky breath and then we walk out to the car, hopping inside.

The car ride to the school was a bit awkward and very silent, I wanted to kill this vibe, but even the music in the background wasn't helping at all. I was aching for someone to say something. Anything.

My mom pulled into the parking lot, and came to hault. We got out the car and my mom watched us patiently.

"Have fun today, call me if anything happens, okay?" She called out behind us, and I gave a thumbs up and she drove away.

"Are you ready?" Luke said in my ear, which made me jump a bit, but I nodded, why wouldn't I be? We walked quietly side by side into the school, to find the halls empty besides a girl going into the bathroom. What time is it?

I look at the time on my phone and the time read: 9:32 a.m. Of course we are late again to the same class. Second period.

"We need to sign it, its already almost the end of second period." I state out the obvious and we rush into the front office, to find Mrs. Brown casually looking up at us with a bit of disappointment.

"Again with this? I can't keep letting you guys off the hook with being late to school almost everyday." Mrs. Brown says mainly to Luke and I. The other three boys just stood in silence, signing themselves in, then me and Luke did afterwards.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Brown, I slept in again, could you let us off the hook?" I lie and she inspects me before letting out a long, low sigh before say 'oh, alright.' I look back at them and smile.

As we began to walk from the office, I stop them suddenly and turn around.

"Mrs. Brown?" I call out pulling out my phone, holding it a bit tight in my hands.

"Yes dear?" she looked up at me curiously, looking down at my hands.

"May we have a pic with you?" I ask, stepping forward, I'm going to miss her.

"Sure, may I ask what it is for?" She asked pushing out her chair, standing up.

"Just because." I say simply and walk over to her, opening up my camera, I motion the confused looking boys over here, to get into the picture.

"Alright, but make it fast." She says and I place the phone on the dresser, to where it would fit all of us. I put the time on ten secs and click it, rushing back over as everyone crowded together.

We make a pose, and I just smile brightly and wait for the picture to snap. Once it does, I grab my phone and walk up to Mrs. Brown hugging her, which she returned.

"Thank you." I whisper and let go, then we all piled out the office, walking down the halls, we have five more minutes until the bell.

"What was that for?" Micheal spoke up, and the others nodded anxiously wanting to know as well.

I just shrug my shoulders and put my gaze on the ground, ignoring the question for no reason in particular.

"Well..see you guys in about five minutes, we have to head to class." Ashton spoke up clearing his throat. Everyone nods and makes their separate ways as Luke and I walk to Mr. Harold's class.

"Jordan and Luke late once again." Mr. Harold said pushing up his glasses, as soon as we opened up his classroom door.

Luke shrugged his shoulders, which surprised Mr. Harold and the students watched us intensely, waiting to see what would happen next. Before I could speak up and answer, the bell rung, signalling class was over, and the students cautiously got up and exited the room.

I look Mr. Harold up and down and tapped my fingers together, then cleared my throat.

"Mr. Harold can we have a picture with you?" I suddenly asked, making them both look away from each other and at me. He looked taken aback, but complied.

"Sure, Why not?" he looked at me confused before they both walked up behind me as I held my phone up. Mr. Harold took off his glasses and ruffled up his loose curls, he was actually a very attractive teacher.

"Smile." I say and they both give two different smiles, one cheery and one crooked. I smile too and take the picture of us three, and then closed my phone. I turn around and hesitantly give him a hug, which he slowly returned.

"Thank you." I say sweetly and pull back, he nodded and smiled at me, showing off his dimples, sliding his glasses back on his face. I leave the classroom first and lightly jog down the hallways.

"oomph." I let out as I came in contact with a body, landing hard on the ground. When I looked up I seen a head of blonde hair, and met eyes with blue ones.

I've never seen him before, and he was rather cute might I add. He chuckled to himself and helped me and himself off the ground.

Then he spoke.
