We pulled up into Ashton's driveway, even though we could've walked but decided against it anyways.

Luke made me knock while he bent down and tied his shoelaces, so I knocked and stepped back, waiting for someone to answer.

Ashton was the one to open it and he smiled brightly when he seen it was me and Luke. He invited us inside, so we walked in, him behind us.

"Okay, you guys can take a seat anywhere." Ashton's voice spoke up behind us as we walked into the living room to find everyone here, Ashton himself, Calum, Michael, Avery, Sara, and.. I could feel my breath hitch in my throat as I stared at the blonde with wide eyes as he looked down ashamed.

Luke noticed this and he looked where I had looked and spotted him. I watched as he clenched his fist and he decided not to make a scene since obviously no one knew what was going on.

I cleared my throats and put on a fake smile while everyone greeted us with smiles and hellos, I took a seat beside Michael and Luke said on the opposite side of me.

"So, what are the agendas for today?" I asked clicking my tongue, trying to hide how uncomfortable I was around Niall.

"Good question Jordan, today I have planned is an adventure and many home made games." Ashton says walking into the center of the room, crossing his arms across his chest.

Everyone exchanged looks before laughing at our serious friend, he rolled his eyes before pushing his fist in the air.

"Everyone to the backyard." Ashton says pointing towards the back, he was the first to rush back there. Everyone finally understood he wanted this so we stood up and made our way to where he ran off too.

"What are you doing?" Michael asked me confused looking down at my short frame as I stuck close to his side.

"I need to talk to you." I whispered to him making him more confused until he realized what I was talking about.

"Maybe later?" He offered out as we made it outside with the others.

"Okay, now that everyone made it here, I'm going to set everyone is pairs of two." Ashton says and shoots a wink my way, I just cross my fingers and hope he doesn't pair me with Niall.

"Calum you're with Sara, Michael with Avery, Niall you're with me, and that leaves Luke and Jordan." Ashton announced our partners and I sighed a breath of relief when I didn't get paired with him. I felt Niall staring at me but I avoided his gaze.

"Now, what I'm going to do is give each pair a piece of paper of what they're required to do, everyone must participate." Ashton instructed and grabbed a basket from the ground and handed at least one person in the pair a piece of paper.

"Open your papers and you may begin!" I watched as every one opened their papers and they began exchanging words, then walked over in different directions.

"Why are we even doing this?" I asked a little confused as Luke opens our own note.

"Why is Niall here? And pull down your shorts some." He asked then he pulled up both of my overall straps up my arms. I ignored his question about Niall and pulled my shorts down.

"What does the note say?" I asked changing the subject, leaning over in attempt to read it.

"We need to make a dozen peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, then the next is to find 3 big rocks. Afterwards meet back outside with your items. Ashton is weird, I wonder what everyone else got." Luke laughed after reading the list then folded it up, putting it in his back pocket.

We both decided to find the big rocks first, so we split up.

"I'll go over here." I said pointing at a big pile of rocks. Luke just nodded at me and walked over to a different pile. I crouched down in front of the pile and rummaged through the tiny rocks.

I was about to give up and go to a different pile when a big rock stuck out and I picked it up with a smile on my face, turning around.

"Hey Luke, I found one!" I called out to him and he turned around holding two big ones smiling. I pouted and walked up to him with my semi bigger rock than his.

"Now let's do the sandwiches." He says in an American accent even though he's Australian. I smiled at his idiocy.

I followed behind him in the house and we walked inside the kitchen, setting the rocks on the counter. We washed our hands after so we can get the dirt off.

"I'll get the bread, so you go ahead and get out the peanut butter and jelly." I instructed and went over to the fridge since the bread was laying on the top of it.

I stood up on my tippy toes and tried to reach up and grab the bread, but kept missing since I was so short. I heard laughing behind me and I huffed, turning around.

"You need help?" Luke asked me amused with a smirk. I nodded my head slowly and he set down the peanut butter and jelly, then walked up to me, his body was in front of mine and he made my back hit the fridge as he pressed his body against mine.

Talking about some, 'oops.' He grabbed the bread and stepped back from me with a smile, then turned around, opening the bread.

"Well, let's start." I managed out as I was a bit heated from the contact, I walked over and grabbed out a butter knife, opening both jars.

As I grabbed pieces of bread and spread the continents on, I came to my senses that we were on lunch duty, sneaky but smart. Just made me wonder what the rocks were for.

Luke started making the other half of the sandwiches and we finished them in silence, I was starving to say the least, so I peeled the crust off of one, eating away, while Luke cut the others in half.

"You've always liked taking the crust off for some reason." He started shaking his head at me, while he took a sandwich too, eating it.

"Hey you have peanut butter on your cheek." He laughed pointing at my cheek. He ended up walking towards me with a napkin and cupped my face, to where I stood still.

I just stared at him as he wiped the napkin across my cheek and I just gulped. He lowered the napkin from my face and he didn't let me go, I can't have another re cap of before, so I prayed he would just step back.

I watched him as he fluttered his eyes shut and he leaned in more and more, this is wrong, I can't let him kiss me again, no matter how much I wanted him too. He was playing with my emotions.

I shook my head and pushed him a little harsh back and I watched him stumble back and shoot his eyes open. He watched me as I teared up and ran out the front door of Ashton's house.

I past Avery and she called out to me, but I ignored her as a tear slipped down my cheek, I felt myself getting choked up, so my mind started overthinking to where lies formed in my mind.

It made me think that all these new people were only friends with my cause they found out I was dying and my bestfriend was using me.

Right now I was being selfish and this is will probably ruin the others planned out day, but I needed to be alone right now.

I ran down the road and I remembered the waterfall me and Ashton had found, so I turned into the woods and ran deeper and deeper into the woods, until I could hear the water splashing into the pond.

My vision was blurry from my tears so I couldn't take time to take in the beautiful scene, so I spotted the tree and fell underneath it, letting it fall over me as if to protect me from the world.

I brought my knees to my chest and buried my head in my arms, and just started crying out to no one in particular.
