Nothing is more beautiful than a real smile that has struggled through tears.

I ended up hiding behind Avery and she stopped, turning around, looking at me like I was crazy.

"What are you doing?" She asked with a chuckle at the end, I let out a sigh ad shook my head and we continued walking as I unhidden myself.

"Jordan, this is Zane, Taylor, and Niall." Sara says pointing to each boy as she said their names and Niall and I made eye contact and smiled at each other.

I was right, it was Niall, my little Irish friend. Now I can repay his date he never got  when we first met, but of course didn't say so aloud.

We all walked inside the diner and took a seat at a big booth, Sara had Zane, and Avery had Taylor, and well I of course was with Niall. Niall offered to sit in our own booth and I shrugged, agreeing.

"Hey, funny bumping into you here." I laugh out and he laughs along with me, getting my little joke.

"Ha, well its in our nature to bump into each other." Niall joked and I laugh at it, playing with the hem of my shorts.

"Anyways how are you, you look great." Niall says and looked me up and down before smiling sweetly at me.

"Thank you, I'm actually doing fine at the moment, you?" I asked making eye contact with him. He nodded and says same while the waitress comes up and sets down a basket of bread and butter, with two glasses of iced water.

"After this, would you like to come to my place for a bit and hang out?" He offered hesitantly and looked back at his two friends talking to mine.

"Sure." I say softly, something feels weird and I feel kinda awkward around him for some reason, like a bad era.

"You're really beautiful, you know that?" He complimented me, while smiling warmly at me and his smile made the awkwardness go away but couldn't help the blush creep up on my cheeks.

"Thank you, you look great today also." I compliment back and he chuckled to himself lowly and I glanced back to see Avery and Sara having a good time with their dates. So I turned back around, paying attention to my own.

*Afterwards*

"Bye Jordan, call us!" Sara and Avery called out to me as they hopped inside Sara's truck and pulled out after the other boys, following their car.

I hopped inside of Niall's car and buckle myself in. Niall got in and copied my actions and then pulled out the parking lot and turned in the opposite direction, to I'm guessing his house.

I decided to take this time and send my mom a text, telling her I'm going to go to Niall's house and hang out for a few hours, so I might be home late.

I sent m daughter a thumbs up and smiled, running into my room and looking underneath my bed. I pulled out my finest wine and vodka I had and walked back in the living room, setting them on the table and pulled out my phone.

I found my friend from works number and rang them up and they answered on the third ring.

"Hello?"  The voice answered and I smiled.

"Hey charlie, come over." I demanded excitedly and hung up the phone.

I screwed off the wine top and got some glass cups and shot glasses, setting them in front of me on the table.

I needed to apologize to her, I didn't like how she didn't text me as usual and I didn't want things to be awkward around us. I was thinking of confessing to her, but that would be too much pressure on her sand things would never be the same again.
