Avery's P.o,v,-

I sat at the edge of my bed and waited patiently for them to show up and accuse me soon. Well yes, I was apart of all of this, but I wasn't the one who pushed her, no no.

I tried to stop her from pushing her, but by the time Jordan was already drowning so I ran as fast as I could back to the house.

I let out a breath as I heard their footsteps coming up the stairs to my room. Okay, play cool and pretend you don't know a thing.

"Hey guys." I greet as soon as they barge into my room, staring at me.

"Don't, Hey guys, us. Tell us everything you know." Sara starts yelling at me and I remained calm and gave her a confused face as to ask what she was talking about.

"What are you talking about?" I asked confused moving my head for more effect for them to actually believe I was truly confused.

"Where were you before the guys left to find Jordan?" Luke asked staring at me intently, he actually was pretty intimidating. Sara nodded her head also as if she could achieve something.

"I was in the bathroom, making a phone call to my mom." I lied, when I was really was chasing after her, through the thick woods.

"Do you have any information on who could have pushed her or wanted her dead?" Sara asked desperately, sitting next to me on my bed.

I had the right to feel guilty and I only agreed to this plan because she was trying to steal Sara away from me.

"No, I don't, I'm sorry." I lied again and swallowed the lump forming in my throat.

"Sorry for accusing you." Sara apologized and gave me a hug and I hugged her back staring at Luke as he was watching me closely, looking me up and down. He squinted his eyes trying to figure me out.

"I don't believe you." Luke stated crossing his arms across his chest, making himself look more intimidating, raising his brow a bit at me.

Sara pulled away from me and looked at Luke like he were crazy and I tried my hardest to hide my nervousness.

"What, why?" I asked slowly trying not to stutter or mess up on my words. I was on the verge of spilling everything I knew, but I knew she was watching us right now, she would hurt me and them.

"I think you guys should leave." I say sternly, standing up and walking over to my door, opening it for them. If they stay here any longer, I will end up spilling to them and that will end terribly.

I could tell Luke never liked me since we have met, it's like he had a bad vibe on me, honestly I was mysterious so I would have one on me also.

Luke's stare burned into me as Sara looked a little hurt, by they got up and walked past me without another word. Before I shut the door, I heard the front door slam and the sound of a truck start up.

A single tear slipped from my eye and I didn't wipe it, I kept it there as more and more slipped down. My phone buzzed and I read the text that popped up, causing me to cry more.
