Prologue

"No, I'm going on this hunt with you guys. I just turned seventeen and I haven't been on one in a while. Come on Sam let me go on this one I'll be fine. Nothing bad is going to happen to me." I plead with my second eldest brother to let me go on the hunt. "Ang, we don't know what is killing the tourist, I don't need you dead. We've lost so many people already, I don't need to lose you too." Sam says as Dean enters the room. "Oh, come on Sammy, let her go. I'm sure she'll be fine. Besides, there's no one to keep her out of trouble while were gone." Dean says as he stands next to me. Sam sighs as he says, "Fine. Just be careful, go start packing. We'll leave in about an hour." Sam says as I smile and run upstairs to start packing my things.

Present

Angelica's POV

I started packing everything I thought I would need for this hunt. We were still in the motel room getting ready to head to a cave in the forest where tourist kept disappearing. The boys and I think it was most likely due to a wendigo, but we weren't 100% sure until we got there and started examining the area. I started drifting off into the depths of my mind wondering about how this hunt will go. The last time I went on a hunt with my brothers, I almost died. They kept telling me that it wasn't going to be the last time that it happened, and I know they were right but for some reason I feel like it would happen again on this trip.

I'm still lost in my thoughts, but quickly pulled out when I hear my name being shouted at me, "Angelica Winchester!" I hear my eldest brother say. I flinch slightly being startled out of my thoughts, I turn to him and respond, "Yes big brother?" I say in a child's voice. He smiles slightly as he shakes his head, "You good? You seem kinda quiet while you pack. Usually you're talking up a storm." He says as he finishes loading his gun, he places it into his duffle bag and stands up stretching. "Yeah, just thinking. Hey, you wouldn't mind if I drive to the cave, would you?" I ask already knowing the answer. Sometimes it's like why bother asking. Dean laughed slightly and walked over to me rustling my hair. "You're funny Ang. You barely turned 17 and you think that I'm going to let you get behind the wheel of my baby after what happened to your car?" he said as he walked over to the mini fridge pulling out a beer. "Hey, you damn well know that what happened wasn't my fault. That guy had no right to run me off the side of the road and into a ditch." I say as Sam comes into the room. "Car is all packed. All that's waiting is us. You both ready?" he asks standing in the doorway. I nod as I sling my bag over my shoulder. Dean places his drink back in the mini fridge as he heads back to where he was sitting only moments before to grab his bag. "let's get this show on the road then." I hear my eldest brother say.

-At the cave-

Angelica's POV

We make our way to the cave as night begins to fall. I pull out my flashlight and wait for my brothers at the mouth of the cave. Once were all standing there we start to make our way into the belly of the beast. "It's dark as shit in here." I say as I shine my flashlight around. "Hey, Angelica. Language." I hear my second eldest brother, Sam, say. Soon enough we all start to hear things around us. It starts with the little things. Twigs snapping. Knocking sounds. Then it escalates, soon rocks are being thrown and this shrieking cry is heard not to far from where we are. We all pull out our flair guns and keep it in our free hand that's not holding the flashlight. "Do you feel that?" I ask my brothers. "It feels like something is watching our every move. It has to be close." I say as I keep walking. Soon though I don't hear extra footsteps beside me. And I don't see my brother's lights shining through the cave. Just my own. "Sam?...Dean?" I say as I turn around to look for them.

Soon after five minutes of trying to call out to them I decide to continue walking deeper into the cave. Our job is never really to stay together. It's normally split up and cover more ground, so we can get the job done faster. I turn back around and that's when I come face to face with this ugly son of a bitch. I go to pull out my flair, I aim it at him, but I wasn't fast enough. I feel a sharp pain in my stomach, then the world went black.
