Chapter 37: Movie Night

Falling asleep in one environment, and waking up in the next isn't an easy task mind you.

It takes time to first remember the events that took place before falling asleep. Then actually remembering who you fell asleep around.

Afterwards, you have to think of the possibilities of what happened, and who carried you to the current location.

And finally, you have to see where the fuck are you.

And that's what she did. But, she wasn't too sure about Felix carrying her home without doing something stupid.

So, she got up, a bit ecstatic that it was an official off day for all idols, workers and trainees.

She and the Destiny members had planned this movie night for a while, Got7, and even Stray Kids getting in the fun.

But then again, 22 people trying to watch a movie in an exquisitely normal apartment, was not the best idea.

So, the infamous JYP told them they could use the secret movie and game room in his house since he had a gala he needed to attend.

Anyways, as she rechecked her surroundings, she smiled, and took out her clothing and utensils to reenact her daily routine.

She then placed her now auburn in a messy bun, the little curls placed on each side of her face for a messier effect, as if all didn't go in.

She then walked outside, happy to see her members there, in their natural habitat.

Sitting in front of the television eating the breakfast their manager came to give them.

Then seeing their manager in the kitchen with his hands in his hair, as he sighed out of frustration.

"Everything alright?" She asked, placing her hand on his shoulder, as he flinched a bit.

"Not really." He simply answered, turning his phone around to prevent her from seeing such gruesome.

"You wanna talk about it in English? And a bit quietly if it's too personal?" He looked at her as the tears brimmed, and he nodded, resting his head on her shoulder as he silently sobbed.

"I don't know what's wrong, but I pray that it'll all be okay." She said, as she stroked his hair as he continued to sob silently.

After a while, he stopped, smiling to his client with gratitude, a sad glint in his once beautiful olive irises.

"My sisterㅡ she's not doing too well right now. I truly wish I could tell you more, but I can'tㅡ not right now at least."

"Oh gosh. You should go and check on her Taewoo." She exclaimed.

"Not right now. I still have you guys to worry about, and after what happened with you, I don't want to stress boss out even more."

She slumped, and sighed heavily. Then she cupped both of his cheeks and squished them together, causing him to laugh a bit.

"I hate that I have to give you this type of advice for something as serious as this, but instead of worrying about everything, it's best to live in the now, and regret later. What's done is what's done and wallowing in doubt, regret, sorrow, and even pity is too time consuming. I should know." She told him, causing him to laugh.

"Now let's eat breakfast and join the gang before Felix calls me to get the snacks for movie night." She said, showing off her best smile.

She then greeted the members happily and sat down, as she ate breakfast with the others and enjoyed life in the now.
