He sighed, looking at his crush and back at the tall hospital in his view.

"Are you sure you want to visit him Rei? I know it's already been a week, but I want to make sure you're one hundred percent before we go in." He asked, watching as she stiffened, then relaxed before looking into his chestnut eyes and feeling a sense of serenity.

(a/n: this was partially intentional)

"I'm not 100%, but 87 is a good number right?" She said, it sounding more like a question, causing him to squeeze her hand in reassurance before hesitantly letting go.

She looked at him confused, before it all dawned on her and she just walked inside.

"Hello, how may I help the two of you today?" The nurse said as she saw the two from a distance and got intrigued as to who was entering.

"We came to visit Adrian Gonzalez, if that's possible." Reina said nonchalantly.

"You'd have to be a family member or close friend of him to see him ma'am."

The Mexican-American tried her absolute hardest to suppress an eye roll and just sighed.

"I am the little sister of said patient. And he is the best friend." She said, absolutely trying her hardest to not lose her temper when the nurse gave her a "are you kidding me with this bullshit" facial expression.

"Have you brought any identification papers to prove that you are related to the patient ma'am?"

"Are you seriously questioning if I'm lying or not ma'am? Mr. Gonzalez isn't rich neither famous. I would know considering that I've spent almost sixteen years with him."

"I'll please ask the both of you kindly to step off our premises before we call security. Have a nice day ma'am."

Felix was baffled. And Reina was truly trying her best not to snatch the twenty eight piece off of this idiot's head.

Luckily, Abuela came just in time.

"Oh! Nieta! Adrian has been wanting to see you for the longest! What happened to your phone?"

"Mrs. Gonzalez, do you know these people?" The nurse asked, a bit surprised.

"No shit." Reina mumbled under her breath.

"Of course, can't you see the resemblance between her and I?" Abuela then became confused as to why the nurse was acting this way.

"I'm so sorry ma'am. I thought you two were some crazy fans of Destiny. You don't know how many times I've heard the same excuse."

She said, bowing a sharp 90° angle repeatedly to them both.

"It's fine." Felix sighed, before both of them headed behind abuela.

"So she came with Felix huh?" Another nurse said, moving from the corner.

"Apparently so. But that's odd. Why someone from Stray Kids and not from Destiny?" The nurse behind the counter said, casually going on Twitter.

"Hey hermano." Was all she said, as she sighed and placed her bag gently on the floor.

"You look like you had a rough day." Adrian chuckled, watching as Felix hesitantly entered the hospital room.

"The nurse at front desk was being unreasonable in every aspect ever."

She groaned in frustration, before looking at abuela and then turning to Adrian, who seemed to look better than she imagined he would for someone who got shot and has heart problems.

"Anyways, what's up hermano?" She asked, suddenly growing suspicious, although she doesn't know why she is.

"Aside from getting shot really close to the lungs, I pretty much feel like shit, so there's that."

She sat in the chair, Felix's body moving on its own to go and massage her shoulders.

He can clearly tell that something is irritating her.

"Hey again everyone." Was the only thing he said, after noticing that the atmosphere was very thick with awkwardness.

Abuela snapped her head to Felix, who she clearly didn't notice until now, and proceeded to walk over and give him a extraordinary hug.

"Oh Felix. How did I not see you?" She asked, causing the Mexican-American to feel a certain vibe from her grandmother she never thought that she would've felt.

The aura around both of her relatives were suddenly dark, and conniving, and to be honest she felt a bit weird being around them.

It was like the people she is around aren't really themselves. She felt as if, they really weren't her family.

"So, Felix how have you been?" asked Abuela as she noticed how her granddaughter was looking at her.

At this moment Felix didn't really know what was going on. He felt confused this entire atmosphere, this entire aura, this entire ordeal, did not necessarily make any sense.

"Aside from preparing for our new comeback I've been doing pretty good."

The tension inside the room was too much to bear and, to be honest with you I wouldn't want to be in that room either.

The curiosity as to why it felt this way, was eating her alive.

Never in her life, has she felt such a betrayal kind of feeling from her relatives, especially not from Abuela.

In the end, it was as if the feeling only intensified.

Both Felix and Reina, certainly wouldn't want to go back there again.

"Am I the only one that felt as if something really bad is about to happen?" Reina asked, walking to the van with Felix trailing behind her.

"No. I felt it too, but what we should be worrying about, is our groups, our music, and us." Felix casually said, watching as it made the Mexican American female suddenly halt.
